So.. i got another account yesterday and i decided i was going to make a horde character on twisting nether.. which i proceeded to do posthaste. I was very surprised how nice everyone was... i really wasnt expecting anyone to talk to me. All the people ive killed, been killed by, and just generally enjoyed fighting against were very nice. It was neat to be able to talk to them, ive never been horde so i thought the whole thing was quite interesting.. different starting zone quests, i nearly fainted!!! I was touched- Bigbash stopped by and said hello and gave me some money.. what a sweetheart. *giggles* I guess my whole point is.. all the people i talked to i <3 you all. Meghan, ryeska, laserous, bigbash, and even wob.. even though he laughs at me when he kills me.

On a side note...i have -never- really been a horde so i have no idea whats going on.. my priestess is level 6 at the moment, and i plan on leveling her.. it seems like a whole new game to me now.. haha. So if theres anyone who would like to umm.. show me where stuff is and whatnot, or even.. play with me and give me ideas how to rp an undead. I would love you forever!! Also.. are there any roleplay guilds that do pvp.. on the horde side, ive never really seen any.. so im just curious.. I would like her to be in a rp guild very much.. i think it would be more fun than being a silly human or night elf.. *coughs* but if theres pvp that would be an added bonus.. but if not no biggie.

sorry for my book of a post, im done now!

((*chuckle* sounds like you're having fun. Give me a shout if you like, I'm pretty helpful. And feel free to drop by our guild site, http://theimmortalis.net, we love RPers ))

((Well good te have ye. Undead huh? Hmm...

I'm always ready to help folks out. Feel free to ask stuff in game. It'd be nice to have more people to RP with.

As far as guilds go, I have a lot of respect for Immortalis, depends what you want out of a guild really...

Myself and Zust are starting a guild within the next... well as soon as Zust answers my bloomin' e-mail..

It's primary focus is on RP and PvP. We're definitely 'good guys' though, with a view to bringing peace to Azeroth, so if you're looking to RP something evil, there are a host of other options out there.

Unfortunately for all of us, it seems Infamous as a guild has left the server...:sob:

NOT!!! :D

((

Glad to hear you're enjoying the Horde! I originally came from the Horde side on Bloodscalp (PVP). I play Alliance side here because, as you say, it seems like a new game playing a different side. The first time I walked into Darkshore and the guards DIDN'T try to pound the crap outta me, I was quite surprised. I'd love to make a Horde account here but can't justify spending the extra money, personally.

Heh, the hardest part about switching sides, is seeing all the level 1s running around the starter area, and they're NOT fleeing at the sight of you...

My brain kept going: Night Elf! Flameshock before he dissapears and backstabs you! (because all Night Elves are rogues :D )

Ain't that the truth?! Rogues and hunters. My whole first day as an NE was muttering "stupid elf" whenever I saw one ... just to realize I was an elf.

((Im on 24/7 you can always ask me, I think my /played time is getting close to 70 days now :) just to show you how much I play. Later on when you start leveling up Im slowly playing alts also...like once a month I'll do something, Khandivya, Lonasil, Imayepaila, Soldarik, GRUNK (all time favourite personality! He's da bomb), I've got two other characters that I cant remember their names as well (all different classes, all 17+) so if Im not on one of those check Khandivya Imayepaila and Lonasil, those are my favourite classes so far.

Two accounts!? Remember there are things outside! People to meet, things to drink, stuff to do that involves things other than WoW!

Pull away! Pull away now!

Yeah, just...make sure no one who doesn't matter knows you have two accounts. I had to endure a bout of "HORDELUVR" insults the other day.

I swear, the people that get on you for daring to have something other than Alliance toons are the same people that throw chairs through windows when their D&D character dies.

<-- 60 Undead Priest, Deathwing server.

:P

I know the feeling of everything being "new". New capital towns, new starting quests, etc. Northface was my first serious alliance character & I remember going into the deadmines for the first time, the stockades, etc. It was all pretty cool.

Good to hear you're "rediscovering" the game, so to speak. Have fun!

HORDELUVR!

lol

Im an allianceluvr, got a couple of alliance guilds vent info (not sharing btw) that I log onto when I wanna say gg after a BG (looking for more contacts :D), so I sometimes ask hordies if they want me to say something to the opposing team when I get on their vent...sometimes the response isnt so nice.

I do get sleep by the way, I do eat and go to school...I will sleep for 3 hours this morning and then wake up frantically realizing I have to go to school, I'll rush off to school and not pack a lunch cuz I dont eat lunch/breakfast anyway. Sleep a total of an hour in class then have lunch where my friend will give me some...then come home and play wow. Nothing wrong with that!

The attitude that the other side is to be hated always baffled me. Yes, there are jerks on both sides that give the opposing team a tough time (griefers, corpse campers, etc) but were it not for the other team, this would be a strictly PVE game and dull as hell. Those that actually "hate" the other team need to stop playing and seek professional help.

I love fighting in battlegrounds and in the world also. On my Hordling on Emerald Dream, Camp T was under attack and a bunch of us went to defend it. When we killed all the allys, I told people to pull back and not camp them. The responses were less than cordial. I wanted them to rez to we could fight again. I guess some people find standing around looking at dead bodies more fun than fighting. /shrug

I'm starting to consider getting a second account here as well. Sounds like it would be good for coordinating cross-faction RP-PVP events and such. That and I still like killing gnomes. *guilty look*

The last time I played AD&D the DM's wife locked herself in the bathroom because none of our characters wanted to go into another dungeon with her greedy ass character and left her in the woods by her lonesome.

See? That = go experience life away from the dice for me. Yeah, I get angry and vocal when I lose a fight (and my main guild is learning BWL, so...yeah, lots and lots of wipes there). But I still recognize at the end of the day that it's just a stinking game.

Everyone's thrown a controller in their time. But you don't hate someone cause they pick Ken over Ryu. ;)

That pretty boy kens got nothing on Ryu. Hes all flash and style.. those glinting teeth, that fiery fist. All fluff no tuff! Ryu on the other hand.. is hot and sexy.. and wind comes at his command to flutter his headband and clothing... you cant beat that.

P.S. HADOUKEN!

I admire your dedication to be able to switch sides. I made an Alliance alt on Alleria once, and despite all the flack I really, really wanted that Paladin (preferably with a mecha strider mount).

And then I listened to general chat. And realized that I was, after all, a Hordie at heart.

Of course, that was on a normal server- how's the attitude on RP server? I've never had the guts to check.

Karkarov

Honestly I have played both, and frankly general at low levels is the same on both sides. I firmly placed that "horde is more mature" thing in the total myth section of my mind a long time ago. On this server it was really mature and good most of the time in low level horde general, but I also started like three weeks into the servers creation before it was "full" all the time. Now when I ride, fly, or what have you through low level areas I just ignore general completely.

That being said playing both sides is good. Only ever playing one side makes you miss out on like 30% of the game, not to mention at least 1 class. (shaman or paladin) Also on a RP server it has lots of bonuses too.

PS: You pick Ken over Ryu....? *begins hunting down Alucian so he can kill him in game for this horrendous slight to master mack daddy Ryu, even Chuck Norris is no match*

Welcome to the Horde! I've actually done the reverse, started my main on TN (Jeedup 40/warrior, now with mount, weee!) and switched to Alliance on Moonrunner to play with an old friend. Noticed that Allies tend to never get ganked, and when they do and ask for help, everyone just complains -.- Granted, it could just be that server.

I have -definitely- noticed more of a high-lvl friend presence in contested areas. I got ganked in Ashenvale and my corpse was camped. I said something snarky in LD about it, and two 60s were ready to end the gankers' reign.

I committed myself to sitting in contested areas like Duskwood and Redridge after that. It beats the heck outta sitting in IF bored, right?
