Temare
01-27-2007, 03:23 AM
Full Name: Temare Elise Al'seldren
Nicknames: The need for guises has long since passed; publicly she uses none, and if any have been gifted to her privately, they are certainly not known to the masses.
Age: 78
Race: Sin'dorei
Gender: Female
Hair: Black
Skin: Alabaster
Eyes: A light lavender
Height: Middling
Build: Delicately slender

Place of residence: Shattrath City
Place of Birth: Silvermoon City
Known Relatives: Adopted brother, Nuin Al'seldren. All known Blood relatives deceased.

Occupation: High Matriarch of the Light
Group/Guild affiliation: Earth and Bloodstone
Guild Rank: N/A
Enemies: None that she would consider so; such is not her way.

Likes: Cold days and study by candlelight. The light streaming through the open canopies of the Lower City.
Favorite Foods: Fresh fruit and bread.
Favorite Drinks: Water and berry teas.
Favorite Colors: White, silver, and gray
Weapon of Choice: Temare does her part by healing, not harming.
Dislikes: Violence, disorganization, and political maneuvering.
Hobbies: Study of the Light, tutoring of neophytes in her Order, and her craft-work.

Physical Features: Although hardly skeletal, this blood elf has a very delicate build to her, like a slim-boned bird. Pale skin and dark hair add to her fragile look, although the planes of her face are strong and offer a good balance to her appearance. Unlike most of her brethren, her eyes are not clouded by the hazy jade of arcane addiction-- they are the same lavender as they were at her birth, before the Sunwell's destruction.

Special Abilities: A very advanced comprehension of and affinity for Holy magics.
Positive Personality Traits: Even-tempered and soft-spoken, Temare is one with a true gift for understanding and aiding others. She has a commanding presence despite her unobtrusive demeanor, poise and manner demanding respect while offering it back tenfold to those who prove deserving of it. A strong and eloquent speaker, it is no true wonder how she has gained a high and honored rank among the clergy of the Sunspire.
Negative Personality Traits: With such a strong faith and knowledge in the divine, Temare often over-involves herself in the mystical, losing herself in her study for long periods of time with little thought or consideration for her own care. Her passion for the protection of others comes at a high price; while she can heal and aid, this priestess refuses to move to draw blood, often to unfortunate consequence. At times, fits of her own seclusive ways retake her, and she still struggles from time to time with extremely large crowds.
Misc. Quirks: Temare has a few nervous traits, physical tells for her emotions when she lets her expression display none. From fretting with the stitching of a sleeve, or the smoothing down of the front of her robe, there is always some way to see when the Priestess is not being honest with her apparent calm.

Theme Songs: 'Pale' -- Within Tempation; 'Sorrow' -- From the OST of Noir.

History: Born and raised by the priesthood for the priesthood, Temare was kept secluded for training most of her childhood and early adulthood. When the Scourge defiled Quel'thalas and destroyed the Sunwell, she was far from the city-- and thus avoided the fate of the rest of her family, which was annihilation by Arthas's troops. When the young priest returned home, it was to find her city in tatters and herself the only remaining blood member of what was once Silvermoon's most prominent House of priests. With no true guidance in her life save her desire to help and heal Temare drifted for a time before being drawn in by the promises of an old High Lord and his eldest heir, joining their House as it struggled to recover with the rest of Silvermoon. House Vaedrin proved a blessing for the young priestess, for although she was easily adrift in it's turbulent political waters, it provided her a perfect environment in which to hone her holy arts and progress in her studies.

Time passed, and hopes passed with it; House Vaedrin swelled with new people and new plotting until finally it collapsed, over-burdened by it's own successes. When the family split, the now High Priestess followed the elder heir, Arion Vaedrin, as he sought his fortunes in the Outlands. From the High Elves still dwelling in Terrokar forest she learned meditation to finally quell her magic addiction, and unburdened she now continues her travels, aiding Earth and Bloodstone in their endevours while still seeking her own path.

Temare, in brief experience, is talented and loyal. The woman is a pride to her sex, and I have seen the looks of men that have been bestowed upon her.

"Iv'e seen this girl around. Tried speaking with her when she was alone... though it seemed she wanted to be alone. She is very pale, almost to the point of where she looks ill. But of course thats how Mother looked, and Sister as well.

Recently Iv'e been seeing her more and more, glimses of her. She seems to be everywhere. A little odd I suppose, but now that I've been out and around more I guess it's no miracle that I'm seeing more familier faces. I wonder what her name is... hmm..."
