Hi there everyone!
For those who do not know me, I am a fledgeling RPer on the realm who is trying to create an engaging story in the Nether Legends section (The Awakening). Anyone who has already happened into there and read it (Thank you for your support, btw) will have noticed that is began with a quote from another character on the realm. Granted, he's my alt, but I really liked the idea of having random commentary from other members of the realm.
SOOO.... I'm looking for more commentary, more quotes. Any quotes that you may find profound that pertain to dreams, acceptance or reality, a darker urge (Forsaken buddies, I'm counting on you) or if those don't hit you with anything, just something of your own that you think I may be able to find a place for.
An example is located in the story I've already written, so look there for the kinds of things I'm looking for. Any Horde or Alliance quotes will be taken, since the assumption is that the reader will have knowledge of both the Common and Orcish languages. Please include your character name, and a small title/discription (Ex. Gortuc, Shamanistic Elder)
thank you in advance for all the help, and I hope this helps bring out more RP in the realm that people supposedly feel is missing ;)

"Gudd night, purdy boy!"
:D there, a quote by Longcat.
"I be gettin to old fur this I think, or be needin better pay.."
Lupa'Jin, Huntress of Revantusk, while nursing her wounds over a warm boubon following the Battle at Loch Modan..

"Life is like a Gobling Hoor(whore). With enough money, ye can do anythin'."
-Garbhan feeling cynical.
Fallacy

"The wrath of the Watcher never sleeps!"
A common quote by Fallacy as he's about to deliver an attack. Also, anything in Nerubian works.

"No one knows what happens once you die, but I take pride in not knowing and only letting my enemies find out."

"No one knows what happens once you die, but I take pride in not knowing and only letting my enemies find out."
This one fits best for the next phase of the story. Thanks Porkin! Can I get a title from you to properly address the quote? Something other than "Night Elf Hunter".... something RP-y
The others are also great, and I hope for a place to use them! Keep 'em coming!

some sort of title regarding your character in a roleplaying setting. For example, Zonar's own title would be "Dusk Troll Psychotic"

Just a lone elven hunter who seems to enjoy his solitude.
Kurohane

This quote was originally from Kuro's father, but now is something she lives by as well:
"War is not pretty, it is not fair - it is blood and blade and whatever is deemed necissary."
~Kurohane Mistviel, Ogema of the Swordwaltzers
Here's one Lupa was overheard saying in the early days of the Nether Council reformation ..
"Rumours be like poorly fletched arrows.. they have potential to sting, but rarely hit their mark.."
Lupa'Jin, Huntress of Revantusk.

"The pain of death shall be felt by mortals throughout Azeroth, none will be spared, none can resist it and none would escape death's reach. I have dreamt this truth so it shall come to pass."
-Lord Soraxis Firestorm

"Recruits, welcome t' th' Ironforge Regiment! After this Drill, ye'll be Soldiers of Magni proud n' proper. Now ye listen close, as I'm gunna outline yer first task... Run ye lazy dogs! MARCH!'

It's remarks like this that make my friends and I sometimes wish we had stayed on the Alliance side when the server was freshly started.
Keep 'em coming everyone! You can toss out doubles if you like (more than one per person). Remember that the main themes of the stories are dreams, deception, and death. The Three D's ^_^

Ooo, themes! That makes it easier. I love quotes. It's a game for me.
When someone joins IFR, they're a recruit, and before they make private, they've got to run to Booty Bay, with all other recruits available who ened to do Drill (escorted of course). I do my best to get the whole Drill Sergeant deal going on. Think Full Metal Jacket, dwarven, with less swearing.

I look forward to many Ironforge Regiment quotes then (and encounters too ;D)

I love watching IFR do its thing. There's something about marching dwarves. :)
Hmm ... quotes ...
"The goal of warfare is not to die for your beliefs, it is to make someone else die for theirs."
That's a paraphrase from Patton, btw.

"Ale is the greatest enemy of a Dwarf. No dwarf runs in the face of an enemy..."

"The only true winners on the field of battle are the crows"
-Mardus Vect, Mercenary Captain
