Of course, it was members of Infamous doing it, but Slaxim, at least, had an IC reason of doing so. We're borhters IC and OOC, and I've pretty much poisoned (or enlightened?) his mind towards thinking that the undead and cruel and not deserving to be part of the Horde (truth!!), so I ordered him to get the Mark of Shame and slaughter all the forsaken at the apothecarium and followers of arcane or demonic powers. I would've probably joined if I hadn't answered the question correctly back when I was lvl. 40.

While I can appreciate the RP reasons behind this, you (or he, technically) still used game mechanics in a way it could not have been designed for (if the mark was intended to allow you to attack your own faction, your own faction should be able to attack you).
Basically, such an act would cause the forsaken to hunt this troll down and kill him...which we cannot do, because of game mechanics.
So, to make amends, I say he is forced to accept, right away, any duel challenge from a forsaken, and if he is beat, consider yourself killed, and the victor decides what happens then. ;)
Now, to find Slaxim.
And now I see this happened five days ago. Kinda late for retribution now, I suppose. Stupid work interfering with my play.
This is an ongoing activity of Infamous members, not just Slaxin. I had a vendor I was buying from slain before my eyes, forcing me to go elsewhere. It was annoying, in a way, but it reflects upon the doer.
Personally, I regard such individuals as beneath my notice. They flail away trying to draw attention to themselves, but in the end they are nothing, really.

Ya know, I used to get excited when I'd hear the world defense bells ring. I was ready to hop on my raptor and ride to where ever I was needed to defend our lands from the enemy. That alarm peeling meant something.
We get so many false alarms now due to Mark of Shame, that we are all blaise now when the world alarms go off. "Oh look, someone's attacking Crosswinds. Is it real or another false alarm thanks to Infamous?" *yawns*

I used to do this, and I had an IC story behind doing it too. I stopped though, since people would get mad when I did it. I don't want to be a nuisance, like the people doing it now are.
