I wish to share some nice pics taken by a journalist who I met in Thunder Bluff right before heading to Orgrimmar for the Nether Council meeting. He sent me some of the pics that he took by E-mail.

Just before I headed to Orgrimmar from ThunderBluff a lvl 5 Tauren named Herbertklog /whispered me and asked if he could take my picture. I thought this to be a very strange request so I asked why and he then identified himself as a journalist taking pictures for an article he is writing on people who play MMOGs.

I said ok and he asked me to pose for a Pic while saying a basic transcript of who I was:

He then asked me if I knew of any place where he could take pics of mmog people and it sparked in me that the Nether Council meeting would be the best place for him to find what he sought.

Because he was completly new to the game (apparently didnt know anything about the game or warcraft) he didnt know what or where Orgrimmar was or how to get there. Because I had a bit of time I offered to take him to Orgrimmar on foot while giving him a small tour of Mulgore, the Barrens and Durotar.

While running accross the green fields of Mulgore towards the Barrens we were intercepted by an enthusiastic RPer who demanded to Duel our Tauren Journalist for having a non RP name. Our reporter friend jumped afraid that he was about to get ganked but I calmed our enthusiastic RPer
by telling him that Herbertklog was journalist here to take pictures of people in MMOgs for an article. The Tauren RPer let him go and I explained to our now very confused reporter that this was a Role Playing realm and many of us take the RP rules given by Blizzard very seriously.

Once we reached Orgrimmar he was impressed with the city so I took him for a small run around to show him the place while getting a bit lost myself when it came to finding the Ring of Valor (what a noob!).

Once we arrived we waited and once the meeting was begun by Soraxis I took the stand:

Then I expressed my Concerns and my intentions to the Council:

After the meeting the Tauren Journalist was overwhelmed by the experience of the meeting and asked if he could have a last portrait of me:

http://tn.yzeens.com/images/brak9.jpg (http://www.geocities.com/wow_frostwolf/last/BrakogarPortrait2.JPG)

I then ended the Frostwolf Brotherhood and departed overwhelmed with conflicting emotions as TN had been like a second home for me since the birth of the realm but feeling that it was the right thing to do for myself and my guild.

I would have prefered The Frostwolf Brotherhood to end in its prime than see it deteriorate over time with the realm, so it ended.

(Copied from the official TN forums)

FW Brotherhood was one of my favorite horde RP guilds and it really saddens me to see it dissolve so suddenly. I certinely wish you all the best and hope you return from time to time or at least remain active on Mortica's forums.

Though I don't reply much on them you can be sure I read almost every post and you're one of my favorite people to interact with in WoW, be it at the search for Brothergrim in ashenvale forest or the Battle of hillsbrad you've reminded us all what this server is/should be about and i'm sorry to see you leave.

Good luck in whatever you find yourself doing.

Even though a guild name won't unite us any longer, we will all still be brothers. I would have to say that the Frostwolf Brotherhood was the best guild I have ever been in, with its members being some of the nicest players I have ever met. I am deeply saddend by the disolving of the guild, but it had to be done. None of us could stand to see it die a slow death.

Brakogar, I thank you for every thing you've done for our guild, and for the server. The server just won't be the same without you.

/salute to Brakogar and the Frostwolf Brotherhood for everything they've done for me, and for everyone.

You'll be missed, to say the least. I know all of us in the Regiment who had dealings with you were shocked to hear the news, to say the least. I'm glad you'll not drag things on and leave with sour feelings, but I'm still sad to hear of it.

Axe High, Frostwolf Brotherhood!

A sincere thanks to the Frostwolf Brotherhood members and all the great people within the community who are really the ones who deserve credit for any success that this guild had.

We placed so much effort in trying to bring fun RP events to the community because we feel that we all deserve better than what the normal game offers and the importance of RP variety.

The people of Twisting Nether have had such an impact in my heart that will remain within me for the rest of my life. This was my first MMOG and RP experience. At the start, I had no idea that I would get so emotionaly attached to the people who play in it which made the decision to leave ever more hard.

The stress of watching the community get smaller and smaller when compared to the masses and the huge amount of baseless hatred and Real Life willingness to hurt others (within and outside the community) was what confirmed my decision. I knew that if we remained any longer surrounded by such people or exposing ourselves to them everytime we tried a community event would eventualy have an impact on the Guild that I did not want to wait to see.

I am sure that a few will rejoice at watching me leave and may perhaps consider it as another victory on their part, but I dont care. I care that I saw my Guild start of with just 4 active members but was still determined and able to join and host RP events for the whole community to enjoy and grow to be one of the best known guild in the realm; I care about watching the RP community grow to its height sharing and enjoying their variety of RP with one another while developing deep connections with people accross Guilds despite different RP styles or themes while upholding respect for one another.

I witnessed both my Guild and the RP community reach its heights and I could not bare to see it as anything less, so after a long day and night of thinking about all of this and more I came to my conclusion.

Thank you Mortica for Resizing the pics. I am sorry that I did not take other people's screen resolutions into account, that completly scaped my mind.

I'm hoping you'll come back down the road. Have fun out there, regardless.

So.... what happens IC? All your screenshots seem to be OOC.

I mean, can I be upset because Brakogar died and it wasn't at my hands?

Ya just gonna fade off into the sunset and get ganked by my assassins?

What gives?

Seriously, though, for all the tension I helped create between us, I liked havin' ya around. Helped give me a sense of purpose some nights, even.

Good luck in all ya do!

I actualy have been expecting an assasination attempt from you since the last time we spoke. Remember that we agreed to have the Nether Council meeting go smooth for the benefit of the whole community and then you could try an assasination attempt at any another event.

In fact I expected an assasination attempt during the Brotherhood/Ash Bringer ceremony which I made public while keeping you in mind among other other events that were public and I was present at. It was something that always was in the back of my head as I was curious to see how you would pull it of if you tried.

After that I simply thought that you had forgoten or were no longer interested.

Well I hope the best for all and that I am wrong and things actualy do come around and improve for everyone on TN.

Sorry to see you go. Good luck in whatever you do. Try to remember this is just one experiance. Yes everyone has those MMO horror stories but every game really does have great players in it, sometimes you just have to look hard to find them.

Brother.. I will reserve a place for you aboard The Wyvern if you are into sailing the imaginary seas with Lupa and the Blackfang Corsairs..

((althought as some can attest, they may not be so imaginary for long..))

Seriously, I hear you and understand completely. I had to take my leave for other reasons, but understand your feelings completely. Citadel, although around since almost day 3, was always a mild RP guild and some might say its departing further from that daily as the drive to "end game" instances takes its hold. I always enjoyed the RP aspect of the game here on TN, and thus my position as Guild Relations officer of Citadel was one I relished as it meant I could interact with you all in a meaningful RP way.

As Citadel drove more and more towards MC/ZG/Onyxia it became clearer and clearer that my time contraints in RL simply meant I could not keep up.

It was frustrating, and I felt like I was letting the guildmates Lupa grew up with down. So I needed a break. In reality I'm at the point where my online stories of Lupa's adventures here on TNG are taking on a life of their own and I am as interested as many (I hope) are to see where it is heading.

Also, it has provided me with a wealth of RP fodder, should Lupa's adventures lead her back to the continents.

**Note: The Blackfang Corsairs are real.. I reserved the name just in case,,,

You are a class act Brakogar, and it was your inspiration that kept me posting here and not letting all the work I put into Lupa die with a /delete selection.

Fair winds and following seas my friend..

Sorry to see you go, Brok. Maintaining an RP line in a game riddled with PVP kiddies can be very trying at times. Your attitudes about the game and RP pretty much reflect my own: I'm here because Blizzard's view of end game isn't enough to maintain my interest. Making up stories and things to do on your own has become part of the end game experience on any realm. Why not create your own content with a group of smart, creative people around you?

You were definately one of those smart, creative people I like to be around (even if it means we'd be shooting at each other most of the time since I'm Alliance :) ). I hope you're able to come back at some time in the future.

/salute Brok

Thank you everyone. You are the people who keep RP alive in TN through your kindness and good form.

Lupa,

Thank you very much for what you said, I wasnt aware that I had made that much of an impact to anyone in that manner.

I have been enjoying your stories very much. I still believe that Lupa's character development is actualy happening more outside the game than within and like I said you are not really gone as long as we can read Lupa's Saga.

When it comes to me having a reserved sit along with Lupa, I am not sure. I need a bit of a break from WoW (on all fronts) before I feel comfortable enough to have Brakogar in writing. This character has made a huge impact on me and I will have to get things into perspective first since my departure was very abrupt (even to myself) and do not know what story would fit him.

I have not /deleted Brakogar but the account is now inactive and the Frostwolf Brotherhood no more. There is nothing realy left to bring me back but I did not have the heart to delete him since in a way Brakogar is a part of me just as you and many other people on TN are.
