Make a half hour to watch this.

GG Blizzard. Someone made a game more addictive than WoW.

It gave me shivers, and when it pulled out to the final view (and you'll know what I'm talking about, when the crowd goes wild), I got a little teary-eyed.

Wow.......that's....that's huge. That's amazing, and revolutionary, and like no other game I've ever even imagined.

I want it.....

.....and I'm making Zerg >:D

Starts slow. Real slow. But.... it is worth the 35 minute watch. I will keep my eye on it.

I'd play it but probably only casually, still looks fun

Finally, a game that does not qualify better graphics as development. We can really see the programmer shine in this complex yet very simple interfaced game. I look forward to see that game for real. I do wonder though if the game will really hook people or just make them say "Wow ! This is great !" and uninstall it two weeks after.

It's kind of like the old SNES game I used to play called EVO except I went through the prehistoric stages of evolution ( fish, amphibian, dino, mammal, human ) but I could pick and choose which parts to evolve.

This might be like Cubivore but I never played that game...

I'm so getting this game. I wanna make me a big monster and control a city and take over the universe!

Right, except not everyone follows games as rabidly as you or I.

Ps. Sorry I missed you the other night when you logged in - I was in a real life version of tell-hell. ^_~ Come back and hang with us!

Also been keeping an eye on Spore since Mr Wright announced it. Anxiously looking forward to it.. though knowing me, I'd create like, an elf. O_o

The fact that it's all procedurally driven is just amazing. I hope they can work out all the possible issues that kind of architecture presents.

Not to mention the amount of back-end their "species interchange" would require. Makes you wonder if the game will have some kind of subscription fee to download that info... though they have the same kind of situation with the Sims exchange... so who knows.

I just hope a comet doesn't destroy my home.

I could think of worse fates. I SHALL FACE THE PERIL!))

Her!? If I was a girl, I most certainly wouldn't be playing WoW. I'd be doing... less than noble things. Unless I was ugly. Then I'd probably be very cranky.

I'll check the video out when I'm home and am not addicted to the game or the fun fun of running a guild bank. Chances are it won't be too wonderful. While WoW is most certainly not the best game in the world - its better than a lot of others (DDO is the suck).

DOOM!

EDIT: Spelling and Grammar. I blame the thought of fleshy fun bags with little pink nozzles on them. Yarrrrr!

...

Anyway. I think Northface said "she" because most vessels are refered to as female, despite what they were named after.

As a side note, I'm sure the other girls on the forum would greatly appreciate a subject change as much as I would. ^_^

Change of subject, eh...

... And now for something completely different. A man with three buttocks...

(did that work?)

Back to the original topic?

Notice how all features of any creature you create are mutable in whatever fashion you choose? Pretty cool if you ask me. This, of course, means that people WILL create creatures that look like giant walking male reproduction organs.

Mortica

hehe..yeah

I think you'll find the ratio of females to males on TNG to be much much higher than that of the general population.

And if I was going to triple something on a guy, I'm not sure if buttocks would be my first choice. Even if inspecting them is a favored hobby of mine ^^

Hey, look, I have buttocks, too!

What do you mean they're boney?

At least I didn't say bewbies. Till now.

lol. You're welcome to shake your boney butt at me anytime, Clys, as long as Danlily doesn't have anything sharp and pointy aimed at me ^^

Wow. Thank you for bumping this. This game would be an excellent tool in science fiction writing.

I regret to inform you that the majority of the people posting here probably don't have any interest whatsoever in Spore, as a whole... instead, we are merely interested in the usage of the words "bewbies" and "buttocks".

Also, I can only IMAGINE the types of building and vehicles my aforementioned race of mobile sentient genetalia would inhabit.

Actually, I have seen the Spore movie several times and it never ceases to amaze me - both from a players perspective and a programmers perspective. If they ever get that into a marketable game, then I will certainly buy it.

I showed the movie to my classmates in programmation and most were also amazed by the impressive engine behind the game, not to mention the easy gameplay that goes with it. When you know how hard it is to code such things, you gain a lot of respect for those people.
