The land of Hillsbrad was covered in blood, creating a gory path from Tarren Mill to Southshore where many fighters from both the horde and the Alliance fought valiantly. They fought like true warriors and died like so but unfortunately their efforts were once again in vain, nothing was accomplished..Hillsbrad Remains a contested Territory.

The Rules of engagement were not met by either side despite the willingness from both factions to fight honorably and as a result nothing was accomplished. The strange elemental disturbances also made the battle chaotic without a fair and even battlefield as many lost control of their bodies as the land warped around them.

Some will see this as a lesson, others as a disappointment, However we must fight on for both our side and our realm

A Big thanks to all the guilds and individuals that attended the event and my sincere apologies for its unplayability due to the lag and spikes problem. I had hoped that Friday's scheduled maintenanance would have improved the server to some extend but unfortunately it did not.

Perhaps next time when everything is up and running (if it ever happens). We can once again try a similar event.

Well done Brakogar! despite the lag and what not, it was good to see such a large showing. When things settle down for our server, I greatly look forward to more such events - though maybe a wee less public.

((As do I, Brakogar. Great job getting us all together and for providing an RP world-event! The only thing that let us down was the server condition. I look forward to another event hosted by you and the Frostwolf Brotherhood, as well as more from the aligned guilds of the Nether Council. *nudges Phuzada* Hey mon, when you gonna have us a voodoo bash. I'm sure a ritual sacrifice of alliance blood is in order. *grins*))

((I had a blast at the event, despite the lag! There were 9 or 10 other members from Infection there besides myself, and I recieved similar responses from them- great job with the event! Hopefully we can have another one in the near future, when there's a lot less lag to deal with! XD))

((It was still fun, despite the lag and the complete disgregard for the ROE. There's always heavy PVP activity in this area and the odds of us conducting our RP battle they way we wanted it are virtually nill. Maybe we should pick a more isolated place.

I did manage to get 128 honorable kills :D

I thank you all for your kind responses.

The event was unfortunately plagued my some last minute mishaps and unnecesary tensions imposed on me and other organisers but nothing that would completly break it. The lag was what killed it.

At the end all the unnecesary pressure, the lagfest, Blizzard and WoW been UnWarcraft got to me and I almost snaped, but then I looked at the support of my guildmates and the great members of the real RP community. Their enthusiasm and support despite the problems made me reevaluate things better. I may hate WoW for how UnWarcraft it is but I adore the community who is there to support each other, a rare thing on MMOGs, specially WOW.

When things improve we will see what else we can do or we could redo the battle now that we are a bit more experienced.

(( And so the quest continues to find a RP battle where there can be closeure. Good event, though, I wish i could have made it!))
