Shindig and Contest Info...

For those who don't read the front page, we will be having an XMas shindig this Friday (Dec. 22nd) at 7pm servertime.

I don't want any harrassment at this party! Anyone who ICly cannot be in the same room as the other faction are asked to either not attend or to go OOC. This is a gathering to celebrate our frienship and dance and drink. Anyone who thinks they are cool because they can kill someone when there are 40 of you and only 3 of them will incur the wrath of the Mort and make future shindigs secret and by invite only.

I'd kinda like to try to have it in Winterspring and maybe have a big snowball fight when enough people show up.

The only problem with Winterspring is it really hurts the chances of people under about 50 in getting there unless they get a warlock to summon them, and they wouldn't be able to do the snowball fight anyway.

I'll leave it up to you guys to vote for whichever.

If you definitely can't make it (yeah, I know it's really close to the holidays), please don't vote, trying to get a feel for which is better for those who *might* attend.



Edit: Oh, and no contest NEXT week. Tomorrow (12/19) we will vote on this week's, no vote on (12/26), 2 weeks worth of voting on (1/2).

Winterspring because there's less griefers, although getting people lower than 50 -will- be a problem.. HOWEVER, that's what Sanctuary is for!

Any chance it could be moved back a bit? Just one hour would be great, even. Seems 90% of all things scheduled happen at 7 server time on Friday or Saturday, and both are very hard for me to attend.

If not, I may still be able to come for an hour or so, but its a bit iffy.

Yes, a few of us are working on Pirate rep, we can land at Winterspring and then move from there, but landing inside Booty Bay means we have to run through tons of guards to get out, versus the single one at the Winterspring Flightpath.

Winterspring! If we need summons, I can corpse hop Rosey up and summon anyone who needs it. As for the snowball fight, we can always just keep an area nice and clear of nastie bears and such for them lowbies! It'll keep our bloodlust for the opposite faction down!

Winterspring feels a bit more appropriate. If it calms down there (havn't been back.) then we could also try Alteric Mountains. It's just as snowy, you can pick up snowballs and the mobs are lower levels.

yep..Meet up in Everlook at 7pm server time. We might do some snowball fights outside of town after enough people get there. Any warlocks who can bring a few extra shards would be very much appreciated so we can get some of the younger folk up there.

Reminder..this is in ~ 1 hour from when I post this! We will be (hopefully) going for a good hour plus, so show up when you can.

We will be meeting up in Everlook tavern! Once enough people show up we'll mosey over to the snowball fight location and throw some snowballs at each other :)
