Night Elf women and the Emerald Dream

Ok, so all the men went into the emerald dream during the worlds time line, right?

I must ask...

Is this the reason for the "LAWL, LESBINE NEFLFS" comes from? Or is it something else? ME an da friend got into this discussion...

You can only ignore those feelings for so long was his argument... I mentioned somethign about massive Sammichmaking, but mostly, that they would be training...

any thoughts?

From what I know, up until WoW, only Males could be druids, and mostly Females were warriors (Sentinels).

They weren't all asleep, or else the elves would have lost the War of the Shifting Sands, and no births would have happened (which we know they did).

This doesn't even have to do with lore. It's not something Blizzard would bother to make up a story about how all the elf ladies were getting it on while the guys slept.

Just going to include something from Marlexis real quick.

This lead to the men being druids, and the druids had to make a pact with Ysmelda (sp?) to go to the emerald dream (by sleeping) where they currently fight "The Nightmare" (very little info on The nightmare, other than it's this "thing" that is corruptiong the Emerald Dream, and the world dragons are corrupted by the Nightmare. I'm sure we will get more info on this subject come the next expansion) But because the male druids slept for so long, the females pretty much gained dominance. (this is why the guards tend to be female, and you have a female NE ruler)"

Now, the fact that the druids had to sleep in the Emerald Dream (which wasn't permanent, they did emerge every once in a while) was due to the deal they made with Ysera for their immortality and the World Tree, not that they were weaker thean the women. The women, who were not allowed to become druids, stood as guards as the Sentinels and Wardens. This does not mean all the men went to sleep, but all the druids did.

The Nightmare is something more modern, and very few druids now actually visit the Emerald Dream after they were awakened by Tyrande and the defeat of Archimonde, being that it's far too dangerous, especially with the state Malfurion is in. Most of them are working on purifying Teldrassil or are with the Cenarian Circle.
