Laron

As the sun starts to peak the mountain tops, Laron’s Griffon comes to a rough landing. Obviously it didn’t want to fly as much as Laron didn’t want to ride. Arriving back in South Shore, he is relieved to see that that Horde had left the town to be… for now…
Walking in the inn, he sees Azrid sitting at a table by himself… Before he makes his presence known, he takes a quick surveillance of the bar. Dwarf, probably warrior, Pair of Night Elves, one probably a Druid, the other… Watch her… Then back to Azrid. No pet, odd for him, and what is wrong with his eyes? “Oh Elune, no… His eyes are yellow… Forsaken… No…” He slides his dagger up his sleeve and readies to meet his Brother.
As he approaches from behind, Azrid, who continues to drink from his glass seemingly unaware until he sniffs the air. “It’s about time…” He says to Laron without looking at him. Laron comes out of hiding and shakes his brother’s hand, making sure to feel the warmth of his flesh, and… a pulse. “Thank Elune.” He thinks to himself as he sits at the table.
“So what is this about Brother? I wrote Tillna… She is dangerous Azrid… I’m not real happy I had to blow my cover with her, but if she is friendly, then we will see.” He states as he sits forward, keeping an eye on the shifty looking Night Elf. Azrid Looks around, and leans in closer and whispers, “I met her in the woods… and…” He blushes slightly, as he leans back into his chair.
Laron is set beside himself… “My little shy brother… Who all his life has had a problem even talking with girls…” A grin spreads acrossed Laron’s face. “So that is why you need to learn the speech…” He looks around to make sure no one is watching as he opens his pack and pulls out a leather bound book. The same book his good friend Nojinbu had given him, when he was learning. Looking again, he sets it on the table and slides it over to him. “I believe that is the text in which you seek.” He says not taking his eyes off the two Night Elves at the bar. Azrid takes the book and starts to open it, when he is kicked from under the table by Laron. With a quick glance from his stealthy brother, he puts the book away and tries to act as though nothing had happened, but he is bad at it…
Just then he can hear the town bell… the guards yelling outside… South Shore was under attack, again… Azrid starts to jump up, when Laron puts his hand on his arm. “You don’t’ want any part of that Brother. The people who attack this town are very experienced, and I’m sure your new interest would be pretty upset if you were to perish in defense of this little town.” Smiling at Azrid he fades into the shadows and heads out the door. Laron has someone at home as well, who would hate to see him die over a little town like this…
