View Full Version : patch 2.0 gives lots of classes pets..what about the rest???

what about the other classes?

-druids get to summon tree minion slike in WC3

-Warlocks have minions and can spec for a freakin' sidekick (liek all villians have...the dumb ogre guy to do all her/his dirty work :P)

-Mages have elementals now if spec'd for ice ( i believe)

-shamans use a totem to call forth a elemental

-and we all know hunters get pets...


IF other classes had minions/ pets, they would be the following:

-Paladins get a boy to be their ward (put those orphans to good use!)

-Rogues get a dumby that looks like them, but isnt...then they pop out and HA!..2 rogues!...ZOMG! (kinda like that engineering thingy)

-Warriors get a sidekick that throws things or has a sling shot (like that little robot boy in Transformers movies..the one the dinobots ran into)

-Priests get a ghost to aid them. I'd go with the ghost being a minion for shadow spec...cause that'd be cool. Get rid of the shadow form and replace it with a minion that looks liek the Eye of naxx guys .

I had a non combat pet for my rogue....and then realized that whenever I hid and wanted to stay hid, having a bird following me around may not clue NPC's in....but I'm sure the horde would question why the heck a black hawk is flying around by itself through Stranglethorn...especially a bird who showed a label with a curser scan over of the name of "Hawk-Owl Danlyra's Pet".

Priest get a summon spell, the Shadowfiend. Only lasts about fifteen seconds, but damage it does is given back to the caster as mana, cooldown is five minutes.

Shadowfiend and the Elemental Totems are NOT talents, we will not get them in 2.0. Still need to wait till BC for it.

The day they remove shadowform from the shadow tree is the day I delete my priest.

And I heard the shadowfiend does close to 3k dammage if you make the most of those 15 seconds. Also heard it gets stronger from equipment, kind of like hunter/warlock pets do in expansion.

Yeah, actually. And I have looked around at information too.

Earth Elemental: Level 66 Spell
Fire Elemental: Level 68 Spell
Shadowfiend: Level 66 Spell

My friend and I got a good one.

Raptor Strike: Does damag based on attack power, Absorbs 50% of damage delt. any overhealing done is transferred to Pets owner

Arcane Shot now scales with attack power. It makes up for the fact that a lot of Hunters will lose Aimed Shot with a 41 point Beast Mastery build. Which is actually viable, now that Beast Mastery does more than buff your pet. 2.3 attack speed on a crossbow ftw.

Snake were now tameable before this patch, you may now get the snakes from either Wailing Caverns or ZG.

I always thought mages should have familiars; elementals, magical creatures, something. Say an ice elemental gives them a bonus to ice spells, or something else boosts their mana regen.

And druid's should have a spell that calls all nearby beasts to aid them in a fight. That would be nifty. Or maybe beasts of a certain level and below are peaceful towards high level druids? That would also make sense. How can you be a protector of nature when nature keeps attacking you?

Pets for everyone, say I.

Apparantly there is a new "serpent" class of pet, which get a venom spit ability. I had read about it recently, but thought they were talking about flying serpents. From what you said, I'm guessing it's just a new pet type.

Oh, right! On topic! Yes, the snakes from WC/ZG will be tameable. They have a poision ability that is similar to scorpids', except that it's ranged like wind serpents' lightning breath.

(i have ff1&2 in gba and ff3 on ds...never liked ff2, i hate the lvling system >.<)
