I go away for a few months, return to WoW, log in, check my friends list ... and it's empty. So I add all the names I can remember (I didn't even get to count my toes), and get "That Player does not exist" each time.

So this is what it feels like to be immortal ... :cry:

I can't believe how quiet the server is for a Saturday night (my time). It's usually rocking. I saw tumbleweeds in Stormwind. The same for Friday.

Thats weird, when I played at night (AU) on Saturdays it was usually quiet RP wise and most of the people were hardcore raiders or PvPers.

I'm online right now and you're right about RP, there's zilch. The few people around are raiders/PvPers/grinders, but there's hardly any of them either. I guess everyone went to see U2 tonight, lucky bastards ...

Okay after my trip to Gamestop this evening...I saw the PS3, Im not really that impressed. The machine itself is huge and bulky, and the games for it aren't that impressive...

Saw the Wii, good design, and the controllers are pretty cool....I shoulda played with the Wii, but there were a bunch of other people using it.

So in conclusion, I will not be getting a PS3...for many years, unless one is given to me for some reason, in which case...that person wasted a hell of a lot of money!

hahaha that building really looks like it too. As for all the "i'm getting wii" bah, i'm saving up for ps3. Sony has always released the best games, and will continue to do so, just don't be a dumb ass and buy it the first year, what a waste. It takes about a year for developers to adapt and learn to use the dev tools to full extent, not to mention the games in first couple of months always suck and are below par for what these systems can actually do. On a side note ps3 is bulky because it's not technically a console, it's a pc.... from the mouth of the sony ppl themselves. It has twice the gpu power that any one of our comps can dish out i wager. Besides anyone see the graphics for ps3 game "2 days 2 vegas"...wha! Just the beginning. Fancy controllers...yay....i want awesome power with good control, not good power with awesome control. So have your v6 sports coupe, i'll stick with my v8 big block.

The trick is to never ever ever buy the damned console on its first 6 months. Give it time to have a second edition release, have some better games come out, have the price jump down a bit...

See I like the Wii, but I'm a die-hard PS fan. When I bought my ps2, It was almost a year after the original release, and the shopkeeper laughed at me for not buying an XBox instead. I told him I already had a POS Microsoft computer, wtf did i want with something else manufactured by them?

Needless to say, I still have my PS2, it still runs perfectly. My brother bought an XBox around the same time, and had to exchange it three times due to overheating and other issues. Brandynew game systems = not the best way to go. Give it some time to get tweaked a smidge!

OH!Gloomberry, after our chat this morning, feel free to think of MaeMae as a newly aquired friend :D Mebe she'll teach you a thingertwo about bein a druid, atleast the healing parts! She'll even introduce you to her mentor, who taught HER everything she knows about being a druid ;p

The Wii has the only launch title I could ever ask for.

And the Wii controls on it are fantastic. They feel very intuitive.

I've never owned a Playstation, but after seeing Shadow of the Colossus and playing a bit of it in a store, I'm going to buy a PS2. I don't care if the PS3 is coming out, I just want to play SotC.

See I like the fact that PS3 is very simmilar to ps2. I don't wanna have to learn how to completely use a brand new controle system when the PS line has had RELETIVELY the same controler for the past 10 years. Why fix something that isn't broken? The Wii looks cool, but give me a sony PS3 any day.

OH! Gloom, you can play ALL ps2 and ps games on the PS3.
