(OC) Help! Need backstory ideas! >.<

Once again, im new, so if this doesnt belong here, feel free to move it by all means.

Now, Like i said Im new, and I have little knowledge of the history of the forsaken or how one becomes a member of the undead.
I would really appreciate some assistance with both the undead lore, and the backstory creation. Anything helps! ^_^

Okay.... Here goes....


Eyes open, nothing in vision but darkness. "Where am I?" A dark, young voice spoke as he searched for light. Nothing. He moved his hands around the darkness, trying to find a way out. His hands touched a rough surface. His fingers felt lighter, but almost like stone. He pushed, he heard the sound of two stones scraping against eachother. A faint light started to shine through a crack. He pushed as hard as he could, and the stone slide off and shattered as it hit the ground. He covered his eyes with his arm so they could adjust to the light. But it still came through. "What the hell is this?" His eyes finally adjusted, and what he saw wast his arm, but an arm of pure bone. "What th-.....WHAT THE HELL'S GOING ON??"

He looked around, he was in a mausoleum. He looked on the ground and saw cracked plates of stone, scattered. He picked one upand turned it over. It had Momos Kagechi, in old cracked and eroded print engraved on it. He let out a scream that could be heard for miles. He stumbled up through the dark stairwells. Trying to figure out what had happened. The last thing he remembered was his town being raided by a band of gnolls. He tried to focus, but all of his memories were hazed. He remembered waking up next to his new bride one night, screams in the streets. He looked out the window and saw fire and hundreds of gnolls charging through, tearing everything apart and setting fire to the inn.

His wife woke up. "Whats going on?" He looked over to her. "Nothing Kelina... But I need you to stay calm. Take the dagger from the dresser drawer, get your cloak and try to get out of town." He picked up his sword and broke an old stool to use as a shield. "Leave town? Why wont you tell me whats going on?" Kelina said, worried. There was a breif silence...

"The gnolls have come back, only this time they brought more to attack this time..." "How many more?" She was now on her feet, taking her cloak out of the closet. She turned around as she put it on and looked at him "At least 30 on this street. Now go, meet me in Stormwind in one week." She stared at him, her eyes tearing up. "Alright.... I love you." He looked back at her and kissed her cheek. "I love you too."He made his way out the door, a gnoll charged at him but he took it out with a quick slash. The gnolls cry brought the attention of more in the area. He waited for them and thought to himself. "If i can keep them busy long enough... Kelina can make her escape..." He kicked one of them in the face and began to hack and slash his way through the crowd. He heard a scream. It came from Kelina. His body was struck with fear as he turned around, only to see her fighting off a small group of gnolls. "KELINA!"

He started towards her when he saw a gnome with a long sword cut through them. "Pat!" Momos shouted, it was their neighbor and old friend, Pat Murray. Although now his face looked torn and his skin looked pale. Momos heard a shattering sound as a gnoll hit his side. An aura shot around him and once it disappeared, Pat appeared green and had long pointed ears. "WHAT THE HELL?" Momos shouted, his old friend had been toying with them for years, a goblin disguised as a gnome due to some form of sorcery within that stone. The goblin looked at him and laughed, then in one swing, he killed Kelina. A long cut from her shoulder to her hip. Momos was in shock. His eyes teared up and he charged back through the gnolls, slashing every one of them in his path. The goblin ran at him with a wide grin. As Momos slashed at him, the goblin thrusted his sword straight through Momos' abdomen. "It's been fun....Momos...." The little goblin said as he chuckled. Momos' last moment of vision, was the goblin running further into town with the gnolls, and his wife lying on the ground, covered in blood. "Kelina...." Momos passed on.

He shook his head and continued up the stairs. As he walked out the exit. He could see a destroyed village in a dark, dead forest. It was what now is known as Deathknell. "Hey, over here." He looked over at a bald man in a dark blue cloak. "My name is Mordo. I'm the undertaker."

.........And Momos' new story begins.......

Thats what i came up with... I like it, but i dunno if its totally accurate, or possible haha. :3
I tried me best and thats what i got hehehe.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not an expert on the lore - I'm familliar with it at best. Well, at least the non-Night Elf bits. I know more of those. ^_~ However, while I'll leave any lore related parts up to the others, I do like the little twists and turns of your backstory. It will certainly lend to some intresting RP for you in the future.

The only question is how much you will block from your memory. As I understand it, most Forsaken try to forget thier human pasts. *shurgs a bit* But, again, that's not exactly in my league.

Well, thats the point. As time goes on, he'll forget most likely, and the only reminder he'll have will be the hole in his abdomen ;)
And maybe ill get someone to play out Kelina as an undead. Probably get my girlfriend once she gets WoW heheh.

Okay, it may be troublesome to people, but i would appreciate feedback on my backstory. Let me know whether or not its possible within the lore of warcraft, or whether or not its postable as "Goumon Hitokage Momos Kagechi." (Yes, i will subtitle it. it roughly translates to "Tortured soul - Momos Kagechi") I think it sounds pretty badass :mrgreen:

I'm sure if people were sure of the lore they'd let you know. As it is, the only self-proclaimed lore expert I know of is Enheilras, and he doesn't come to these boards.

As long as the logic works for your character and it doesn't involve anything non-warcraft, I would think you're ok.

If you are very worried about it though, I'd copy/paste it on the official Twisting Nether forums with something like "Question for Enheilras" as the title so he knows to look at it.
