Well, one day in English class, we were reading Shakespeare and I thought to myself, “What if WoW had actors?” because WoW fantasy is based on medieval/renaissance beliefs and looks and since they had actors, why couldn’t we? So, I had this idea running trough my head and thought that the actors could do scenes from famous plays, recreate scenes from Warcraft lore, or even make up new plays to perform. All the actors in question would have to do is type the correct lines from the scene at the correct time and use macros and movements to enhance the feel of the play. These actors would perform for guilds, holiday events, and/or selected days of the week for the public. They’d use costumes and with the hallows eve event, mask to portray people from the other faction. I’ve already called the idea the Twisting Nether Troubadours, but the name is still up for debate. I’d like to hear some of your ideas on this or even if you’d like to volunteer.

I'd love to participate!

An IC justification for the name is that the Twisting Nether is the medium connecting disaparate locales, as the Troupe is the medium connecting disaparate tales.

Actually, Ylisaxa once brought up this idea in the Tirisfalen guild forums. It got some good response and interested participants. We were going to set up a sort of travelling skit show, like " Azeroth Night Live "

Sort of got lost in the shuffle, but the idea is sound I think.

I've seen the idea in action on another server, and it worked really well! The "actors" were very entertaining, they got the audience involved, and everyone had a good time. I think they ran like, at least one show a month, and the turnout was always good!

Best of luck, I hope you pull it off!

While I couldn't participate in it with any of my characters... I would enjoy bringing them in to watch this. I think it's a very original idea, and has the possibility of being something very very cool.

I believe somebody on Alliance did this once? Though, it was more of a one man show.

Vilmah would be terrible as an actress, she's such a bad liar! But she'd totally come and see a play!

It was the Kza Show!

Lots of fun, good RP, and when he left the server he gave Lovely like 50 gold just for being a supporter. Good times!
