Some of my observations from a Draenic Priestess point of view. I should mention that not all priests, and not all Draenei share my point of view. Some will find these notes inspiring. Some will be angered and call me mad. Think about it and make your own decisions.

Darkness should be neither feared nor worshipped. It is not a thing; it is a state, a condition. Darkness is merely the absence of Light. There is no such condition as total darkness -- there is always some ambient light.
"Without torches and lanterns in the dead of night,
the Moon and the stars give proof of the Light!"
What we call The Light is really just energy. Light is just one of its many manifestations. There is energy as light, sound, and heat. It exists everywhere -- in everything around us and even within us. From the smallest atom to the most complex brain wave, our world is totally composed of various forms of energy. It is all of this that we call The Light.
Students of the Light like priests and paladins are taught how to use the Light -- how to call upon its forces; how to receive its blessings. But few make the extra effort to truly understand how the Light works. They are content to know that it works, they do not feel a need to understand the mechanics behind it.
Consider for a moment what your potential could be if you fully understood how everything in the world around you worked. What if you could master all of the laws of Nature -- the very laws of physics -- and make them work for you, at your command, whenever you wished. Would you master your craft? Would you make yourself King? Would you rule all of Azeroth?
It is said that with great power comes great responsibility. The Naaru have taught us that the Light has unlimited potential, but can only be used by those who know how to do so properly. For example, the Light gives us the power to shield our allies in combat. It is impossible to shield an enemy. The Light cannot be used against its own purpose.
The Light has existed from the beginning of Creation. It exists in all things in Creation and cannot be destroyed, therefore it has always existed. It sometimes has polarity (positive and negative) like a magnetic compass needle, but this should not be confused with Good and Evil. The Light is neither good nor evil. It just is.
Good and evil are measurements of intent, and do not apply to the general physics of Nature. A wolf kills a rabbit, but this is not murder; it is not evil. A soldier kills another soldier on a battlefield. This is not evil. When a thief plots against a citizen, killing or not, it is the intent that makes it evil. The Light cannot be good or evil any more than the water in a lake can be.

It is getting late and I still have evening prayers to attend to. I will continue later when I have more time.

((Thank you!))
Today, I will pick up where I left off. Now... where were we? Oh, yes. How to achieve mastery of the world we live in.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the world of physics, energy and mass are inter-related. Without getting too in-depth, or too technical, these are the basic concepts you will need to understand. Everything you see in the universe around you is made from one Original Substance, out of which all things proceed.
New forms are constantly being made, and older ones are dissolving, constantly changing into new forms; but all are shapes assumed by the One Thing. This thing is a Formless Stuff, it is the Original Substance.
There is no limit to the supply of Formless Stuff, or Original Substance. The universe is made out of it; but it was not all used in making the universe. The spaces in, through, and between the forms of the visible universe are permeated and filled with the Original Substance; with the raw material to make all things. If we were to take everything that has ever been made, and make ten thousand times more, we will not exhaust the supply of universal raw material.
Nature is an inexhaustible storehouse of riches; the supply will never run short. Original Substance is alive with the Light; with creative energy, and is constantly producing more forms. When the supply of building material is exhausted, more will be produced; when the soil is exhausted so that foodstuffs and materials for clothing will no longer grow upon it, it will be renewed or more soil will be made. When all the gold and silver has been dug from the rocks, more will be produced from the Formless. The Formless Stuff responds to our needs; it will not let us be without any good thing.
The Formless Stuff is intelligent; it responds to the energies of the Light. It is alive, and is always impelled toward more life. It is the natural and inherent impulse for Life to seek to live more; it is the nature of Intelligence to enlarge itself, and of Consciousness to seek to expand its boundaries and find fuller expression. The universe of forms has been made by the Formless Substance, throwing itself into form in order to express itself more fully.
The universe is a great Living Presence, always moving inherently toward more life and fuller functioning. It is said that when the universe was created only the Original Substance existed, along with the Logos. "Logos" is often translated to mean "the Word" but a more accurate translation would be "the expression of thought". The Original Substance expressed its thought and created the Light. The Light was the first thing created and after that all other things proceeded.
Nature is formed for the advancement of life; its impelling motive is the increase of life. For this cause, everything which can possibly minister to life is provided in sufficient quantity; there can be no lack unless the Light is to contradict itself and nullify its own works. As I explained previously, the Light cannot be used against its own purpose.
The energy of thought is the only power which can produce tangible things from the Formless Substance. The stuff from which all things are made is a substance which thinks, and a thought of form in this substance produces the form.
Original Substance moves according to its thoughts; every form and process you see in nature is the visible expression of a thought in Original Substance. As the Formless Stuff thinks of a form, it takes that form; as it thinks of a motion, it makes that motion. That is the way all things were created. We live in a thought world, which is part of a thought universe.
Thinking the form of a slow-growing oak tree, it moves accordingly, and produces the tree, though centuries may be required to do the work. In creating, the Formless seems to move according to the lines of motion it has established; the thought of an oak tree does not cause the instant formation of a full tree, but it does start in motion the forces which will produce the tree, along established lines of growth. Again, the Light cannot operate in violation of its own laws. Nature cannot go against itself. Everything works according to the rules that govern its operation and existence.
Since we know that everything in our world must work according to the laws that govern it, we can use this knowledge to serve our own purposes. Every thought of form held in thinking Substance, causes the creation of the form, but always, or at least generally, along lines of growth and action already established.
The thought of a house of a certain construction, if it were impressed upon Formless Substance, might not cause the instant formation of a house; but it would cause the turning of creative energies already working in trade and commerce into such channels as to result in the speedy building of the house.
No thought of form can be impressed upon Original Substance without causing the creation of the form.
We are thinking creatures, and can originate thought. All the forms that we fashion with our hands must first exist in our thought; we cannot shape a thing until we have thought that thing. Remember, this is how things are created.
And so far we have confined our efforts wholly to the work of our hands; we have applied manual labor to the world of forms, seeking to change or modify those already existing. We have not thought of trying to cause the creation of new forms by impressing our thoughts upon the Formless Substance.
Observe a blacksmith. He forms an idea of a great sword. He sees it in his mind and holds the thought-form, examining every detail of it: the metals it is made of, the shape of the blade and hilt, the size and weight of it. Then he takes the material he needs, smelts the ore and begins to form the sword in the visible form.
Observe the tailor. She forms an idea for a magnificent dress. She holds the thought-form in her mind and examines every detail; noting the fabric, the thread, the stitching. She may even "express her thought" in the form of a sketch, drawing or pattern. It is then from this pattern that others may share the identical thought; whereby they will gather materials and begin to form the real tangible item from the thought-form that created it.
So it is also with cooks who think up new recipes; engineers who design schematics for new inventions; alchemists who mix potions and transmutations. We think about the end result, then mix, modify and shape materials into that form.
When we have a thought-form, we take material from the forms of nature, and make an image of the form which is in our mind. We re-shape and modify existing forms by manual labor; we have given no attention to the question whether we may produce new things from Formless Substance by communicating our thoughts to it.
I propose that we may do so; that anyone may do so, and to show you how. As our first step, we must lay down three fundamental propositions.
First, I assert there is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.
A thought, in this substance, produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.
We can form things in our thought, and, by impressing this thought upon Formless Substance, can cause the thing we think about to be created.
Our way of doing things is the direct result of the way we think about things.
To do things in the way you want to do them, you will have to acquire the ability to think the way you want to think; this is the first step toward becoming a true Master.
To think what you want to think is to think TRUTH, regardless of appearances.
Every person has the natural and inherent power to think what they want to think, but it requires far more effort to do so than it does to think the thoughts which are suggested by appearances. To think according to appearances is easy; to think truth regardless of appearances is laborious, and requires the expenditure of more power than any other work a person is called upon to perform.
There is no labor from which most people shrink as they do from that of sustained and consecutive thought; it is the hardest work in the world. This is especially true when truth is contrary to appearances. Every appearance in the visible world tends to produce a corresponding form in the mind which observes it; and this can only be prevented by holding the thought of the TRUTH.
To look upon the appearance of disease will produce the form of disease in your own mind, and ultimately in your body, unless you hold the thought that there is no disease; it is only an appearance, and the reality is health. Remember that Nature ministers to life and seeks to extend life, not extinguish it.
To look upon the appearances of poverty will produce corresponding forms in your own mind, unless you hold to the truth that there is no poverty; there is only abundance. Remember that Nature is an infinite storehouse of abundance.
To think health when surrounded by appearances of disease, or to think riches when in the midst of appearances of poverty, requires power; but he who acquires this power becomes a MASTER MIND. He can conquer fate; he can have what he wants.
This power can only be acquired by getting hold of the basic fact which is behind all appearances; and that fact is that there is one Thinking Substance, from which and by which all things are made.
Then we must grasp the truth that every thought held in this substance becomes a form, and that we can so impress our thoughts upon It as to cause them to take form and become visible things.
When we realize this, we lose all doubt and fear, for we know that we can create what we want to create; we can get what we want to have, and we can become what we want to be.
You must first believe the three fundamental statements given previously.
You must lay aside all other concepts of the universe than this monastic one; and you must dwell upon this until it is fixed in your mind, and has become your habitual thought. Read these creed statements over and over again; fix every word upon your memory, and meditate upon them until you firmly believe what they say. If a doubt comes to you, cast it aside as a sin. Do not listen to arguments against this idea; do not go to churches or lectures where a contrary concept of things is taught or preached. Do not read magazines or books which teach a different idea; if you get mixed up in your faith, all your efforts will be in vain.
Your mastery begins with the absolute acceptance of this faith.
We will continue with the next lesson after you have had time to master these basic concepts.
Light be with you!
I have been receiving some interesting questions from members of our congregation. Mostly, they seem to revolve around the same issue, so I will start by addressing that issue.
It seems that the biggest trouble people have in adjusting their belief, is a lack of faith (or should I say 'confidence') in what I teach is true. One woman stated that, in science, one does not just make a statement and have it accepted as fact, but instead proof or examples are presented to demonstrate the claim. I agree.
I claim that all things are made from energy, including us and our thoughts. You can do your own research and verify that this is true.
I claim that our universe is full of Formless Substance that is an intelligent thinking stuff that creates the things we need. That Nature is an unlimited storehouse of resources that are available to all of us. When a miner removes the ore from the ground, is it gone? Or can he return later to mine still more? When a Hunter kills a beast, takes its meat and skins its hide, does not another take its place? The Herbalist picks wild herbs, yet there is never a shortage. More herbs grow back and replenish the supply.
The same is true for other objects that we may need, from gold coins to weapons to houses and vehicles. Anything we need, we can have by projecting our thought of the item to the Formless Substance. The only way to prove this is for you to do it exactly as I describe and test the results for yourself. I could describe for you so many, many times when I was in need of a particular item. I remained patient, and focused, knowing the item was on its way to me. It has never failed.
The Formless Substance will make things for you, but it will not take things away from someone else and give them to you. You must get rid of the thought of competition. You are to create, not to compete for what is already created.
You do not have to take anything away from anyone. You do not have to cheat, or to take advantage, or to drive hard bargains. You do not need to covet the property of others, or to look at it with wishful eyes; no one has anything that you cannot have too, and you can do so without taking what he has away from him.
Think about this carefully.
Imagine for a moment an entire society that has mastered life in this manner. Each person knows that they can have anything they want without needing to take it from someone else. There would be no reason to steal, or cheat, or do anything dishonest to get what you want. There would be no reason to be jealous of someone else, no reason to lust after or covet anything he has; because you too can have one just like it.
By living this way of life, we remove from society many of the "evils" that we see around us today. We remove the motivation behind so many sins. Remember that good and evil are matters of intent.
The most important aspect, and certainly the most difficult, is to always guard your thoughts. It is said that "like attracts like in the realm of the mind". Remember to think Truth in spite of appearances.
The more you are able to focus your mind on good and positive thoughts, the more you will associate yourself with good and positive energies. Too often we see people who experience a horrible tragedy in their life and they stay focused on that tragedy.
In the loss of a loved one, do not memorialize their death -- celebrate their life.
In the loss of a home, or occupation, or money, do not focus on the loss -- prepare yourself to receive new wealth.
Nature abhors a vacuum and will always seek to fill what is missing. Your thoughts will guide it and bring it into fruition. This is how prayers work and it is in everyone's best interest to learn it well.
We will leave this discussion with a word of warning:
"Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it." Guard your thoughts always. Never let your emotions rule your thoughts or you can quickly lose what you worked so hard to gain.
Peace be with you.
