Today we met once more. The first in a long while. She hasn't aged a day, though that should be expected from our race. She was beautiful in the moonlight. I had to leave to take care of some buisness with a merchant's caravan, sadly. Thank you Elune, for guiding her to the place I was. Perhaps she can help me with the ravages of the brew. Tomorrow I shall check on him. Perhaps he is better with my sister- away from the fighting and turmoil that unfortunately surrounds me. Only time will tell, I guess. It's been a good, free night.

Today I made the usual trip from Stormwind to Westfall, guarding the caravan from the local remnants of Defias, just wannabe thugs now. Didn't even have to draw my sword for the trash. Got paid my usual wage plus a tip due to the good sales of produce he had sold at Sentinel Hill. Used the money to purchase a place on the boat to Darnassus. Inside the city, my helmet never came off. I haven't been so tense since the first week after the trick.
Eventually I found my sister's home. We had a good, but it was stilted. Relations had never been good between us since what had happened in Outland all those years ago. He seems happy here- as a former mother herself, my sister is able to take care of him well. He's safe here- which is more than could be said for when he was with me, something I am not proud of. I only hope when he comes to age he understands why I had to do this. For his safety and the promise of a good life, he must stay here.
I used nearly all of the money I had remaining to purchase my way back to Stormwind, and to buy her a bit of a gift. I'll seek her out tonight- bless me with your guidance Elune, for this large city has many places of possibility.

In other news, the nasty scar I got from the demon's axe's grazing wound has been glowing a more noticable tint of green. I've slayed the Fel-scum, but still he hurts me. It is not enough to be readily noticed by others, but it has been causing me pain. I fear the axe may have been corrupted in some sense with fel magic, or poison. I plan to see a Priestess of the Moon soon- Elune's light is the only one I trust to heal me of my corruption. Besides, I have not attended a proper prayer ceremony in several moons. Gods know I need to purchase a proper home as soon as my wages have built up enough, as I need an altar to worship at home.

As I buckled on my armor to set out on the weekly trip from Stormwind to the towns of Redridge Mountains, I found the note she had slipped in my belt. The words written inside give me new hope and happiness..it is good to know that throughout it all, she worried and thought of me as I did her. And once again, I am reminded of the main reason I had returned.Elune'Adore, Tarika, you amazing person.
