Anything between now and then is going to be moot for most people since the gear and such in BC will replace anything tier 1 and lower the first week they're in there.

I have yet to see any early BC gear I will use over my current gear. Most of the early BC gear is designed for non raid spec characters for obvious reasons. I am a raid spec in the worst way so the gear is actually sort of gimpy for me.

My dilema now is which account to shut off. I'm leveling a paladin and a rogue on my alliance account but wasn't really planning on completing them cuz I planned on getting back to horde with the bloodelves and kicking The Immortalis back up the last quarter of the year (as they had always said it would be released last quarter of 2006).

I miss being horde side. I love horde. Don't know if I want to keep up the alliance alts, or work up an alt horde side that I can make into a craft slave later, of if I just want to shut off both accounts because I'm depressed.

I don't know what to do.

Blizzard won't be publishing their first expansion for this game until it's 26 months old. :roll:

So.. the thing is.. I dunno whether to liquidate Pylith come expansion for cash and funds for Aquizit.. (yes, I know I killed him in one of my tales, but.. it's a good name! >.<) or transfer him out.. bah!

No PSU didnt come out yesterday. It wont be in until this afternoon for PC and ps2 and thursday for Xbox 360. 24th was just the shipping date as it turns out. If you plan to get the 360 version and want some people to party around with let me know I have a guys I know who plan to play it.

Well, I for one, was pretty upset about it. Now, however, I've over it *shrug*. There isn't anything else out right now for me to play that I like as much as WoW, and I've yet to find a current single player game that I can play that doesn't have mouse-look (gives me vertigo and makes me ill)). PS2 and PC servers are linked, so they can play together. I'm on PC, but I've yet to set up a character because the billing site is down.

It's not free content. But it's also not "We want to give you another five-man...so pay $30 plzkthx."

The EQ way is poor. Very poor. Blizzard could have made you pay extra for every one of those additions and they didn't. And yeah, if you're not into raiding, some of those aren't appealing...but they're still available to you. That's the point.

I will pay $40-$50 every two years if this is Blizzard's business plan. I'm not a raging Blizzard fangirl, not by any stretch...they've pissed me off more than once and I've wanted to go to California and leave a burning bag of poo on their front porch...but I think people are sometimes too hyper-critical of them. I mean, they posted in the EU forums about BC being pushed back and they didn't lock the thread. When they did it on the US forums, they did. That says a lot.

Bleh. I'm in the same boat... trying hard to get to rank 10 at least, but when thinking about it, will it really be that valuable, I mean, the expansion level 61 blues are better than some of the best 60 epics in the game present.

Well, I hear that they're changing up the system so that, if your level 60 wearing pre-BC gear you have on now, and another person has the exact same gear at level 70, the level 70 will have lower stats...they divide by your level now, the higher up you are, the more it divides

The gear HAS to be better to accomodate the new system.

Also I hear it isn't that dramatic, that wrath/dreadnaught (examples...I am a warrior after all) will be as good as level 67-68 blues...

It may be that a level 60 with dreadnaught could be equal to a level 70 in greens and blues...or maybe even full blues...

All just from what I hear, though...not sure on my informations sources...

And epic flying mounts are supposedly 4000 gold for the skill...800 for the regular...again, just what I hear...
