Class Strategy

Death Knight:
Against Unholy Death Knights use Disarm when they pop their Gargoyle to minimize as much damage.

Against Frost Death Knights use Disarm on their Pillar of Frost to mitigate damage.

Druid:
When you notice Nature's grasp you can do one of two things, you can waste a 1 minute 15 seconds cooldown (bladestorm) or you can Throwdown the Druid and eat two charges then
cast Spell Reflection and force the druid to waste mana dispelling.

If you notice a Restoration Druid go into Bear Form, swap to your Shield and anticipate their Bash. Coordinate it with a well timed Spell Reflection to prevent
a Cyclone/Entangling Roots.

Agaisnt Feral Druids, Sword and Board and place your back against the wall to mitigate as much damage as possible when the very beginning of the match
(when they have all of their cooldowns up anyways). Gay it out.

Hunter:
Thunderclap when you eat a snake trap.

Cast Spell Reflection when you see a Freeze Trap to eat it and nullify the effect.

Against Beast Mastery Hunters, saving Disarm for their Beastial Wrath is key.

Mage:
If you know you are about to be Polymorphed, Intervene someone nearby in hopes that they break it with their melee partner. Alternately you can Taunt
their mirror images/water elemental just before they finish their Polymorph cast and have their own pets break it.

Paladin:
If you can spare the global cooldown, cast Spell Reflect just before you Shattering Throw their bubble as sometimes Paladins will cast Hammer of Justice on
you when they notice you casting Shattering Throw.

Against retribution paladins save your trinket for Hammer of Justice and use Berserker Rage for Repentance.

Save Disarm for Avenging Wrath, Throwdown first, pray for a trinket.

Priest:
When an enemy Priest casts their Shadowfeind pet you have many options to nullify the mana gain. You can Intimidating Shout the pet to prevent it from
attacking you or your partners. You can Hamstring/Piercing Howl the pet. I do not recommend you use Improved Hamstring or Throwdown. You can taunt the
Shadowfeind and Heroic Leap away.

Taunt Shadowfeind when enemy Priests use it to score a kill on your teammate, always taunt pets when they are focusing your teammates as a general rule.

Rogue:
Charge stun them on cooldown to prevent dodges/parries.

Intervene your partner in the very beginning of the match to prevent Sap and buy them enough time to get into combat. If the Rogue is smart and waits out
the Intervene, run as far away from your Partner and wait out the Sap. Your healer can get into combat if you get into combat by casting a buff on you.

Use Intervene wisely and whenever your partner is getting out of a Crowd Control effect that is 6 second+.

Berserker Rage saps and gouges..

Sword and Board and place your back against the wall to mitigate as much damage as possible when the very beginning of the match (when they have all of
their cooldowns up anyways). Gay it out.

Thunder Clap is your only ability that can unstealth Rogues.

When in a Smoke Bomb you can do one of three things, Heroic Leap away, Bladestorm out of it, Disarm/CC the Rogue.

Shaman:
Use Heroic Throw to kill their Totems from long range, if in close range Overpower them if you have a Taste for Blood proc else Heroic Strike for a chance at
an Incite proc.

When an enemy shaman is training you and they drop Grounding totem, cast Spell Reflection to take it out if your Heroic Throw is on cooldown.

Warlock

Warrior:
If you have a Paladin/Mage on your team who casts Ice Block/Divine Shield/Hand of Protection and the opposing enemy Warrior is casting Shattering Throw
you can Disarm/Charge/Throwdown/Intimidating Shout them and their Shattering Throw will not go off. Alternately you may be able to Intervene your
partner, although I have not tried this yet.

Cast Retaliation when an opposing Warrior uses Bladestorm.

Disarm when you notice the other Warrior use Retaliation because it does no damage when a weapon is not equipped.

General Tips:
Always attempt to Disarm enemies from behind to prevent Blocking/Dodging/Parry. This is a basic rule for all attacks you do as well.

When fighting classes with pets, rend their pets for guaranteed Taste for Blood procs. This is especially useful against mages, blood death knights, and teams
with Priests/absorbs.

Intervene partners when they cast huge Crowd Control abilities such as Cyclone/Polymorph to prevent interrupts like Pummel/Kick.

Use Taunt to keep other players in combat such as oom healers, invisibility mages(demoralizing shout also works) and rogues.

Recklessness can be used to prevent Fears as it counts as an enrage like Berserker Rage.

Even if you are at a fairly high amount of health but notice a bad situation incoming, for instance your healer is CC'd for awhile and the enemy team is
popping cooldowns, blow Shield Wall to mitigate as much damage as possible.

In long matches, do not underestimate the power of Sunder Armor, Demoralizing Shout and Thunderclap.

Some spells a lot of Warrior overlook are: Challenging Shout, Taunt, Intervene, Throw/Shoot, Sunder Armor, Sweeping Strikes.

Intervene followed by Charge is an underused interrupt and potentially may give you a critical strike on your Mortal Strike.

A common mistake I see a majority of Warriors do is cast Sweeping Strikes in their Bladestorm macro, however in order to maximize damage you should save
it for when two enemies are near eachother and Colossus Smash is on your current target.

Other Mechanics:
When playing with a Priest call for Life Grip so you can use Charge to interrupt an enemy cast when Intervene is on cooldown.

When playing with Paladins utilize Hand of Protection against classes with Stuns to act as a Second Trinket.

I will periodically add to this thread when I have time/desire as well as make it more pretty for your sensitive nerdy eyes. Feel free to discuss anything and ask any questions. All Comments and Criticism welcome.

The goal for this thread is to give free information that I have acquired throughout my experience in WoW to other warriors in hopes of making other players better. If you have any tips and tactics to add, please do so.

Do you have any advice on how to beat spellcleaves as a tsg comp in 3s? We've been putting me on healers and having the do hop on the softest dps and that seems to be the most effective. We tried training the healers but it didn't seem to work as we would get nuked by freecasting mages and locks

You will never beat a good MLS (Mage Lock Shaman), unless you get extremely lucky crits all at once, what spell cleaves are you having trouble with?
