Ok..
Here's the deal:
I have 50 bazillion projects happening right now. But I really am broke ingame, and I think I'd prefer to do character portraits than farm Silithus or Azshara for several hours.
So for a LIMITED TIME ONLY!
I will do character portraits for 200G ingame. If you want another character or pet or something complicated? the price will be higher. If you think 200G is outrageously overpriced, *shrug* I'm not trying to rip anyone off. Time to do portrait versus time to acquire 200G is based off of what it would take for ME to do them. No IOU's!
PLEASE READ THE RULES CAREFULLY BEFORE ASKING FOR A PORTRAIT!!!!
1. First and foremost, you must recognize a difference between me running TNG and doing this. TNG I do for fun. This will (hopefully) be fun too, but even though I won't be doing this for real money, I will be treating it like a business arrangement, so I may appear *bitchier* than I normally portray myself. If you aren't happy with my work, the worst case scenario is you'll lose 50G (most likely I'd return your deposit, but to protect myself from someone being unreasonable or trying to screw me over, I will be requiring a deposit). Bottom line is I don't want there to be repurcussion for me offering to do this that might affect TNG.
2. Unless otherwise pre-arranged (ie, with your permission), portraits will completed 1 week after sketch is approved, or your deposit will be returned. Obviously if I get hit by the proverbial beer-truck, you might have to wait the 30days for the ingame mail system to automatically return it to you :P
3. The transactions will be completed in this order:
1a. You have to send me a ingame screenshot (modelviewer shot is ok too, but ingame is probably better)...preferably a front and side shot. Until I get a pic of your character, do not do anything else! Do not send me a deposit! Do not tell me all your cool ideas! If I receive any money ingame before I receive the screenshot, it will be returned and I WON'T do a portrait for you because you didn't read the directions!
1b. You have to specify what you want the portrait to show (Things you can specify if you want: action pose? specific environment? mood? armor set (if different from what you are wearing in the screenshot you send me)? slogan? etc etc. The more detail you give me, the easier it will be for me to do it, and the faster I can get it back to you. You can say "I don't care, just do something cool" but the likelihood of what I think is cool and what you think is cool probably isn't that great :P). You can send this information at the same time you send the screenshot(s), but don't send it withOUT the screenshots.
2. I will do a "very rough quick sketch" and send it back to you.
3. If you agree that is what you want, then you will mail ingame 50G deposit to either Mortica (horde) or Gazette (alliance).
4. Send me an email or PM here telling me the money is available. Especially if you are alliance since I only log Gazette in if I'm paying a contest winner.
5. Once I see the deposit (I won't open it up until everything is finished, just to make sure that if the beer-truck gets me, the money would auto-return to you), I will complete the portrait and send a watermarked and/or shrunken version of the portrait. If there are minor changes that need to be made, I will do them.
5. Once you are happy, then you send the remainder of the money owed, and I send you the portrait in whatever format you want it in.
6. This is for a limited time only! Once I'm done, I'm done. Don't pester me to do it after I pull the plug!
