I am Furyion Forestsong, Druid of the Claw and protector of Hyjal. I decided to write this to show my view on the war against the Living Flame.

I have been in the Molten Front for a few weeks now, fighting with my fellow Druids and a few of the Earthen Ring. We're defending the Mountain Hyjal and the world tree Nordrassil from destruction. The Firelord is an Ancient being of immense powers, with limitless armies. So far, we have a base outside this realm, and a base inside. The inner base is really a cave with a large tree on top, with a moonwell and ancients to guard us. There are fields and fields of lava, and fire rains from the skies, to rise as Elementals and assail us. There are also Flamewalkers, the Naga like servants of Ragnaros.

Since I've been here, we've made...Little progress. The Ancient Guardians of Hyjal have yet to step inside, but Malfurion and some of Azeroth's heroes have. Daily, the enemy attacks, limitless, powerful...And we lose people. We can't bring them back. The firelord can. The outlook is grim, but, so was the War of the Ancients, the War of the Shifting Sands...We are the Kaldorei, we will perservere.

On the bright side...There are plenty of odd new creatures to study. Hawks made of nothing but fire that are as smart and deadly as normal hawks. Plants that can absorb flames and use it to their benefit...Giant Magma worms that burst forth from the ground, huge and coated in armor. Then there are the spiders, giant and terrible, spewing flame from their jaws.

My old druid armor of light leather would burn easily against the creatures here, so I had to use a new set that's stronger and specially made to resist the flame. Fighting in cat form is my preferred choice, but I am burned easily if I am not careful. Ten thousand years, and I still refuse to wear plate armor.

Writing quickly. It's late here, really late. We're going on a mission. Setting off very soon...Going to kill a Molten Lord in the Front. One of the big ones. Real dangerous. I'm going in bear form so I'm not destroyed. Cenarius and Elune are with us, we will not fall.

One of the Shadow Wardens told me we killed it. The Molten Lord died. So did three of our men. I woke up in a small medical tent near the breach. There are a few Alchemy and Medical machines here. They're interesting. My chest hurts. I was in bear form, charged it...The beast kicked me. My chest and stomach are burned. I have a few broken ribs, and my back is bruised and torn in a few places. Worse than all of this pain...I've had ten thousand years of that; is the waiting. The boredom. Sitting here. Waiting. Holding us back. Staring at the sky...Or...The floor. There's no real sky or ground in this plane. It's a land of Elementals. Nothing makes sense here.

Since I'm going to be here awhile, I had one of my friends bring me a book. A mage I know. Took it from Dalaran. Interesting read, wanted to learn about our enemies. Maybe when I can move without passing out from agony, I can help the Stable Master or the Chef or someone else. Should be back in the fight soon...Not soon enough...

Woke up late again. Still in alot of pain. Not really healed enough to walk around...Feeling kinda better. I've been talking to a friend of mine. By the looks of her, she's another Druid. Her armor is purple and she wears a hood. We talk alot. At least it passes the time. She's just a little off. And it doesn't seem she likes anyone else here but me.

I'm still reading from the book my friend gave me, about the Elementals and the Gods and all of that. Maybe I can help research our enemy, and pass news on to my friends in the front.

I want to get back out there. I can't heal fast enough.

I just woke up. The fighting is still going on. It's night time outside. I can tell by looking at the portal. But...I had a nightmare. The first in years...I was standing at a precipice, a black churning sea before me, claws reaching for me, and the sound of my Wife...Calling to me...And I reached for her, and a Naga was in her place. And I killed it. I launched a spell of fire at her, and laughed madly. Then the scene shifted, and I was standing in a deep, underground place, looking around a cavern, hearing the sound of laughter. There were burned corpses strewn about, and I didn't know what was going on. But the voices told me it was alright. The final scene was a dead, decaying Nordrassil, with Black and Twilight Dragons perched in it's sickly branches. When I looked down, the world was torn and constantly shaking, and the sky was filled with ash. I was mounted atop a Twilight Dragon, part of it's skin was missing and torn and it had a few weird spines jutting from the sides of it's head. It was an odd creature, and an enemy, but I felt...Attached to it.

At least it's over. My stomach still hurts.

It's been over a week since I've written in this. The voices in my head grow stronger! They are the Master. I've left the Druids at Hyjal, their fight is wrong. The world must be reborn in flame, so it can begin anew, without the war and corruption. Fire shall purge everything! I can finally see that! I'm able to move about again, and I'm fully healed. I headed back to Stormwind and I'm teaching my friend Shire how to be a Druid on the right path.

I flew to the Badlands because they said so. I found a Human Alchemist and killed him, taking his tools. I also stole from his wallet, and set myself up a work table. Taking a few dragon eggs in the area, careful of their often angry parents, I have set to work on perfecting a killing machine! My home is small and in a cave in the cliffside. It's only acessible by flying...Which did make carrying a few tools hard, but, I managed. The blood of the Whelps is often burning, and it's sometimes hard to work with. But I continue onwards.

I met with a few like-minded people today, in Stormwind. A Draenei and a Hooded Women. They told me what I was doing was right. That they also work for the Master! I'm happy other people understand. I treat one of my Whelps like a Child. His name is Chromarus. He's the first one I worked on! Very...Damaged. Missing an eye. Practically dead. But I still love it. I wonder if my new friends have an Alchemy lab...Or if they will let me use it...I sure hope so. I would hate to burn them.

I met another Cultist late at night. Her name...Well, she didn't tell me her name. But she was another Draenei, and she could control fire, like I could! Apparently, she's the Leader of a small group of them in the city. I quickly joined her cause. Soon, I won't have to hide in some desert to work on my test subjects, but I'll have a lab, and an easier way to aid the Voices.
