Hi guys! I've been considering posting one of these things for a while now, but somehow never got around to doing it. I really have the attention span of a gnat sometimes.

I art stuff for a living, primarily small contract gigs (for now anyway, but that is more complicated than I need to go into here! Yay Grad school. >.>) - but do take commissions on occasion. Not sure I will open that option here - I just wanted a place to dump the WoW related stuff I sometimes work on. And silly sketches, both traditional and digital :)

A WIP I've been working on for the past month or so now of Klimma...just haven't been able to focus on it for long period of time, and I'm not super happy with it. Was a glorified excuse to play with Paint Tool SAI for coloring instead of just linework. Not a very inspiring pose. Bah!

Hi guys! Thank you so much for the kind words. I know it's been a while - I've been sidelined by contract work and courses and haven't been able to doodle up much WoW stuff. Or m uch of anything for myself, that is.

@Swerto - "Fat"? I dunno. I enjoy that there are so many different bodyshapes and types out there, and think that all of them can be beautiful. I know most people, even when drawing, have a proclivity towards the slender -- but why? Curves and lumps and bumps are a lot more fun to draw. For me anyway! :D

ANYWAY!

Speaking of curves and lumps and bumps.... A sketch I am planning on bringing to a level of digital finish (when I get the time) of my dwarf warrior gal, Mildgyd Stormhearth. :)

Thank you guys so much! Yeah, eyes are probably my favorite part to draw - I love that just a few flicks of a pen / brush / marker can imbue so much emotion into a piece. :

Not finished, it probably needs a few more hours sunk in to really get the details and little bits to pop and areas smoothed out...but I am really happy with the progression!

So, the more I look at that last image, the less I like it with the attempt at digital inking. Made everything look chunky (and not in the cute way) and not-mine in a way I'm not too happy with. Digital inking and I still don't get along so well outside of vector work, which I don't like doing for this sort of illustration. I am incredibly envious of those that can can crow-quill precision and brush weight with this medium. I'll stick to digital sketching technique and painting. :P

Sooooo. Yeah. I've been kinda working on something for the past week. It started off as a quick birthday gift for a friend on another RP site I frequent, and...well...turned into a bigger project than I had anticipated. Here's (part) of the first batch. No seriously, I've probably sketched out and started inking about 30+ characters over the past week. I'll post the next batch soooooon.

These will eventually be colored. Eventually. I want to get inking done, first!
