Alexandra Blazen and Patrick Mills were madly in love. They had met at Lion's Pride Inn, located in Goldshire. It was a whirlwind romance and they were completely taken, at once. Alexandra's father however, was not very happy at all. He only saw Patrick as a 'hotheaded Paladin' and therefor not good enough for his beloved Alexandra, whom he believed to be a quiet, and untouchable, Priest. He decided he would send Alexandra away with her sister, Shara. He watched as they boarded the Horizon Scout knowing that they would be safe and away from trouble, aboard such a lovely ship. Little did he know how wrong he was and that it would be his last time seeing his girls...
Somewhere in between Stormwind and Azshara, Alexandra was surprised by none other than Patrick Mills, who had been hiding amongst the crates and luggage. They were reunited and planned to live out the rest of their lives happy and together, and away from her father. What their love had already produced was starting to show, and Alexandra was glowing from the pregnancy. Patrick and Alexandra could not have been happier. A few months go by, spent lazing in the sun aboard the ship or making pit stops along the coast of Eastern Kingdoms. They enjoyed their time out in the sun, But Patrick really loved being in his makeshift 'workshop' located in the luggage room. He tinkered with anything he could get his hands on. He was starting to have a knack for it, and it Calmed him, since lately the stormy, choppy sea had been beginning to wear on him, making him nauseas.
One Cold, Stormy night, off the shore of Silverpine Forest, Alexandra woke Patrick, with her cries of agony. It seemed as though the time for childbirth was near. He called on Shara to come and help. Shara quickly gathered likely materials, and made some quick elixers, as she was an alchemist you see. Shara helped her sister through the amazing process of childbirth and not a few hours later, Alexandra welcomed a little girl, beautiful Elyzzabeth. Patrick was over the moon, he was very happy to finally get a look at his child, he had been waiting for this for almost 10 months it seemed. Days go by and the proud parents are doting on their little girl, noticing the way her little lip curls up when she hears her mommy's voice or how she kind of makes the cute little whimper sound whenever her daddy holds her. The family made quite the stir on the ship, Everyone came by their cabin to take a look at the new bundle of joy. No one seemed to notice the skies getting darker as they crossed into The Great Sea. Little by little, the skies got darker, the waves got larger, the sea more and more choppy and rough... Soon the crew and members of the ship started to see that they were in for a quite brutal storm.
The ambience of the sea was very dim, gloomy and dark. The captain mentioned that they were not but a few weeks away from Azshara now and soon would be off of this ship. Everyone breathed a small sigh of relief. Their relief was shortlived, because soon after the whole ship was seized by a violent quake in the water, it seemed to start spinning and a dangerous vortex seemed to open up, so much so to where you could see the watery depths, and the whole ocean seemed to embrace them as to say welcome to your death. The Horizon Scout started to capsize. There was much panic and scattering amongst the ship and its members. Lightning strikes and it seems like they can see just an outline of Winterspring Mountains... and hoping to just get there before what seems to be certain death they continue to pray. Patrick and Alexandra prepare, They get their satchels out and start packing up whatever they can, their little girl sleeping soundly in her crib somehow. Alexandra decides to get some food from the kitchen for their packs, and she quietly exits the room. Patrick soon wonders where his wife has gone and follows suit, out the door to their cabin. Baby Elyzzabeth sleeps quietly, all alone in her little room.
Shara knocks on the door, asking if they are ready to go. Since she receives no answer she is worried and opens the door to find the little girl, alone. She goes to the crib, admiring how such a young innocent soul can be so oblivious to the cataclysm going on outside this cabin. She picks up the darling girl and cuddles her, hoping to maybe gain some sory of strength from the child. All of a sudden the ship quakes, the wooden boards seem to buckle and the ship goes under water. The storm has finally taken its toll and the water finally claims its victim. The Horizon Scout is no longer.
Alexandra and Patrick, washed up on the shore of Azshara, hold each others hands as they breath. The sand in her hair, the seaweed smell, all of it... Alexandra notices none of it. She is numb. All she can think about is her Elyzzabeth. She should have gone back to the cabin! Regrets that she knows she will have for the rest of her life are forming in her mind and she feels completely closed off. Mind numbing pain and grief are filling her heart and mind and seems to consume her. Patrick reaches for her, to grab her, hold her tight, Make sure she really is there, but Alexandra pulls away. Completely grief stricken. How to get on with her life when such a huge hole is now in her heart. She doesn't know how.
The corpses are washing up on shore, all around Azeroth. Amongst the ruins of Gilneas, along the shore of Silverpine Forest, as well as Durotar. Seem to be everywhere. Lady Sylvanas is pleased. She needs more bodies, the more the merrier. Her plan will work! All the bodies she can find are brought to the Forsaken High Command, at Silverpine Forest. Lady Sylvanas will consult with the Valkyr and her plans will come to fruition!
"Rise from the grave and serve the Dark Lady" These are the words the Shara hears. She doesn't want to open her eyes. She already knows something is wrong. What happened? She remembers being on a lovely ship, with her Sister and Brother-in-law, and their daughter Elyzzabeth. Elyzzabeth! She was holding her when... when it all went wrong. The ship, oh no... the ship! She lifts her eyelids, slowly, aware that she may not like what she see's.
"In the name of Lady Sylvanas, I bestow this gift upon you. You are returned to life! The Banshee Queen asks for your service." Shara can't beleive what she is hearing. Was she dead? And now she is alive again? Such magic surely must be Dark! "I never asked for this.. Why have you forsaken me?" Shara asks.
"Welcome back to the realm of the living, With the blessing and power of the Dark Lady I have freed your from Death's grip! You are no slave Shara, You are free to follow whatever path you choose from here." And with that Shara started her journey. She ventured to the City of Brill where she met with Apothecary Johaan. She told him of her experience with Elixers and Potions and he decided she would be a suitable apprentice. Shara decided she would indeed take the apprenticeship, but only after she found out what had happened to her family. She went back to where she had risen, and asked the Valkyr what had become of her Family. The valkyr told her that not all of her family had perished. And that actually Alexandra and Patrick were alive and well, living in Azshara. She asked if they were happy with their daughter, and that is when the Valkyr told Shara to follow her.
Shara and the Valkyr walked a little way, toward a small croft. It looked like an entrance to a tomb and Shara wondered what could the Valkyr possibly want to show her in here. Soon she found herself standing in a small, damply lit room, filled with tiny wooden makeshift cribs and beds. The room was filled with child's laughter and babies crying. Shara soon found what she had been looking for. There in a corner she found her neice, tiny Elyzzabeth. She looked different but somehow felt the same. She was completely overjoyed, but that soon turned to anguish. This poor child had been through too much in her short life. Torn away from her parents, from her life. Risen as forsaken. She asked the Valkyr if she could please have the responsibility for this child, seeing as how she was the only family the baby had. She could very well not go back to her parents. They were human. And human's didn't speak to the Forsaken.
There, in Brill, she stayed for years, in the Gallow's End Tavern. She loved her job, loved working with potions, creating new flasks and transmutations. She loved Elyzzabeth and watching her grow was a wonderful joy and gift. Elyzzabeth seemed unaware of the troubles she had when she was little and it seemed best to keep her unaware. Apothecary Johaan decided that Shara was experienced and well trained enough to be on her own, and sent her on her way, with her knowledge and wisdom. Off to travel the world and find enlightenment she spent some time here and there, sampling different foods, and finding new Elixers and just enjoying life. Elyzzabeth had the chance to see the finest things the world had to offer. She found herself often tinkering with random objects. She found a certain calm about this. Shara loved Elyzzabeth as her own. She called her Lyzz. Lyzz called Shara, Mama.
Shara and Lyzz came to an end of the journey at Tarren Mill in Hillsbrad. Shara can still be found to this day inside the Old church in Tarren Mill. She loves it there and spends her days making concoctions and figuring out new transmutations. Lyzz decided that Tarren Mill was not the place for her and she wanted to continue in her "Mama's" path. She decided to become a part of the Royal Apothecary Society, and took an apprenticeship with Master Apothecary Faranell. She became an Illustrious Master of Alchemical Studies and was amongst the youngest to do so. She showed great talent and appreciation for her craft and was often admired by other members in the Society. She wanted to share her joy for Alchemy with others and so she traveled far and wide, doing 'Alchemy Conventions' alongside other Apothecary's such as Antonivich in Thrallmar and Tillinghaust of New Agamand. She made great friends with those she found along her way and as well as great connections. Lady Jaina Proudmoore herself commended Lyzz on her willingness to keep her Alchemical studies such a vital part of not only her own life but the lives of many others.
Lyzz still had quite an urge to continue on with her tinkering as well. She made herself at home in Hillsbrad, a little place off of the Sludge Feilds. It was her favorite place to be. A little Dark and Gloomy but just enough to make her Dark Soul feel welcomed. It was here that she found her studies of the Dark Magic, and even more so, her studies of magical beings, and conjuring them up. She spent a few years by herself, secluded from the world, with nothing but a Voidwalker to keep her company. This being her only Friend, whom she had conjured up herself. Klathnuz became her very best friend and confidant. She would have long conversations with him. She loved his dark outlook on life and how he seemed to be pestered by every little thing, often becoming her bodygaurd when a scourge or two managed to work their way into her little workshop.
Soon she decided that being alone with nothing but a floating blueberry probably wasnt good for her so she made a choice to go out and have some adventures. She barely got out the door when some guy named "Johnny Awesome" came rolling up on a fabulously sparkly horse named Twinkles. He was INCREDIBLY annoying. Johnny was, beautiful but... He thought too much of himself. Before long his talk became very annoying and having asked him to leave numerous times, Lyzz was forced to do something to make him shut up. Lyzz had Klathnuz pick Twinkles up by the nape of her little sparkly neck, and tossed her into the sludge fields. Lyzz and Klathnuz stood and watched with laughter in their eyes as Johnny Not-so-Awesome stood gape mouthed as his precious twinkles was torn to shreds by ravaging scourge. It was probably one of the best thing Lyzz had ever witnessed.
The death of poor twinkles seemed to break Johnny Awesome and he ran off crying like a little baby. Lyzz was vibrating with wonderful anxiety. What had just occured seemed to have brought out something in Lyzz that she didn't know was there. Watching the animal that someone loved get ripped to pieces was invigorating. The sight of blood and gore was very appealing. The thought of taking an opponent and breaking him from his very core was one of the best feelings she had ever experienced. She decided at that moment that she would become a part of something. Something bigger than her. Something that could help her on a Journey to finding herself. She needed something to give her life meaning. Not just making potions and Elixers, she needed more. She called on her old friend, Apothecary Faranell, and He told her to go to Arathi Highlands and to Hammerfall and speak with Deathstalker Mortis.
When Lyzz got to Hammerfall, she spoke with Deathstalker Mortis and he told her of a wonderul place, where Lyzz could go and take out her aggression on the damned Alliance. He told her of the place and spoke to her about what needed to be done and he pointed her in the direction and sent her on her way. Lyzz found herself in Arathi Basin shortly after, Surrounded by other members of the Horde, all coming together, no matter their differences or opinions, and coming together for a cause, To kill. Lyzz found herself in an utter state of shock as she witnessed the blood and gore, The horde tearing the alliance apart, limb from limb. The variety of people that were there and all the hostility. It was the greatest day of her life. Lyzz vowed from that day forward to consider herself a part of this wonderful group, The Horde and to always Kill on sight, Any alliance.
A few days later, exhausted from the countless battles and the slaying of all her foes, she went back to Undercity, and decided to take a stroll through the Ruins of Lordaeron. She loved it there, it was so eerie and Dark. The ambience always seemed to coincide with her mood. She travelled and battered walkway, made her way up some stairs and came upon a different sight. Not like anything she had seen before. It was some kind of shiny crystal or orb. It was beautiful, but bright. Much more colorful than Lyzz was used to. But warm in an odd way. She just had to touch it. She took a few cautious steps toward the orb, reaches out and....
"Welcome to Silvermoon City Elyzzabeth"Lyzz looked around, peeking from behind a bluish see through curtain. She was startled and trying to figure out why her middle felt like it had been pulled through some sort of vortex. She stepped out from behind the curtain and took a walk down a ramp, where she found herself Face to face with Lor'themar Theron, Lord of Quel'Thalas. He was talking with a group of people, when he looked up and saw her watching, he said "A bit out of place there Warlock?". She was taken aback, she thought maybe she had ventured somewhere she was not supposed to be. "Sorry sir, I did not mean to interrupt." Lyzz shook, obviously thinking she was going to get into some sort of trouble. "Nonsense girl, Don't call me sir and we will be fine. What I meant is that you look as though you are searching for something. Something... Inside yourself I believe?" Lyzz was visibly stunned. "How did you know...? I am looking for something to give me guidance, give my life meaning. Show me the proper ways of defending the Horde and bringing the Alliance to their death. Something to accept how I am... my Dark Soul."
"I think then, you should seek out The D.R.A.G.O.N.H.A.W.K. Brigade."
