History: Emmons is the offspring of Lordaeron nobility. His father Lord Malcolm serving King Terenas Menethil II as a knight and Commander in the Guard. Emmons was raised with a strict code of chivalry, expected to become a Knight in his father's footsteps. In his adolescence, though, Emmons found his true calling in adventure rather than Martial Defense, and soon became the apprentice to King Menethil II's Court treasure-hunter and archaeologist, not a prestigeous post, but he enjoyed it.

It was on one of these trips that Emmons Indiana was killed. His mentor had fallen ill, so Emmons had taken it upon himself to primary explorations of a cave network discovered on an Island far off the coast of the Eastern Kingdom, dangerously close to the Maelstrom. Through the blunderings of his bodyguard and friend, Nisphyldewe, Emmons fell prey to a booby trap, and plummeted into a cavern full of Naga. Unfortunately for him, these were no ordinary Naga, but rather the brood of a Necromancer whom had been experimenting with various methods of reanimation. He never awakened from that fall, captured and experimented upon, he became one of the Necromancer's test subjects quickly labeled a failure and tossed out to sea. Unfortunately for Emmons, he had not been an entire failure. Though not up to the Necromancer's hopes of strength and power, he had in fact been reanimated. He floated at sea for 5 years, being spared the horrors of the Third War, eventually washing up on the shores of his home of Lordaeron.

Since his awakening, Emmons has pledged loyalty to Sylvanas, and serves the Grim mandate. He likes to keep an eye on everyone's affairs and craves information. He often follows people around Silvermoon to listen in on conversations, but does not like to intrude unless he sees reason to change someone's course of action. He is constantly followed by whelplings, which he finds bothersome more often than not. Lately Emmons has accidentally made several enemies due to misunderstandings in his work.

Since landing in Northrend, Emmons has developed a personal vendetta against the Vyrkul, specifically the women of Brunhildar. Fighting is no way for ladies to act and he will have none of it. Due to several mace blows to the head, he has also developed the peculiar quirk of addressing a member of another race as if he belonged to a race. Forsaken are simply not large enough to pull off a bellowing "LOK'TAR OGAR!"

"Another one that strikes from the shadows instead of looking into their eyes before the battle. Still the thief has his uses. While his methods are questionable, his loyalty is not. The Dark Lady could have done worse."

"Emmons always beats me up when I throw snowballs at him. He likes to play tricks on me too. One time I asked him to read something for me, and he told me it was a letter from Chavie saying she wanted me to go burn down the orphanage. And he always causes trouble, but he's fun to be around."

"He's kind to my wife, so I suppose he's tolerable."

"A great comrade from The Grim, I am unsure he considers me the same, but I deep him worthy of a 'friend'. Though he may be a theif, a blasted rogue, his prowess is unmatched."

Ha, This one... always looking for profit, even if it is at my expense.
A swift kick puts him in line though and he knows what to do in a fight.
Sometimes his tricks get the better of him, but he fits in fine with The Grim.

Oh, Emmons... at first he got into my nerves. Then, he forced me to ride all the way to some place called Moonglade, only so he could talk to me.

Today, I have no regrets of enduring that long-assed trip to Felwood, and having to cut my way through Alliance to get to him. He made me realize something that made me grow more than any amount of troll sweat ever could.

He still kills those lovely rabbits in Silvermoon, though. And for that, he shall pay.

Emmons has worked to destroy me... and he may have succeeded. I despise him more than anything in this world.

I keep threatening this one, as he seems to enjoy forcing himself into the same web that love has guided me into. Whether if he intends it or not, Emmons is quite capable of inflicting harm upon people I have grown to care for. One of these days, he'll push it too far, and I fear I may be forced to act in violence out of love.

A vile theif and trickster

This one looks out for his friends it seems, but doesn't always do so when its right. But I harbor no ill will against him. His antics are fun to watch.

If I didn't mind the stink of Fel, or the constant devouring of live kittens, I might actually find some humor in this ones antics. Might.

His choice of friends however is less than impeccable... He used to be human, if Cessily is so eager to milk a cow then he could lead her to where-ever it was he lived before so she can grab their mammaries instead.

I like him. I have seen him about and will speak to him soon. He has a devious sense of humor, and he keeps my city clear of the cat vermin.

I finally got to meet him. He and I seemed to get along fabulously for a bit... he was appreciative of my shared concern of the pest problem in Silvermoon. I told him I would thank him, but he took to the shadows and backed away.... pity.

Xara blinks.

"Oh, Lemons or whatever his name is? Yeah, I've met him. Unfortunately. He's kinda weird, and not keen on stickin' around ta answer fer things. Haha, if I caught him between me, Fhen, and Taknar again, I wouldn't tell Leo ta hold back."

He sent me a book about the Dread Citadel. What does he know? One of Syreena's rogues, but definitely a different voice. I do not know if he is entirely worthy of trust. He is curious.

I remember fighting Emmons back when I was a member of the Alliance. He was a good foe to fight, and has my respect. I'm glad that he and I are on friendly terms now, and I can always count on him to be entertaining. I will still watch my back when he's around, of course.

Emmons is a dear friend of mine. True, he poisoned me a few times when I was homeless, but I hold no ill will toward him, and I was able to recover nicely.

It's hard for me to tell if this person is telling a joke, or seriously insulting somebody. Reguardless, he's one of the people I'd feel safer having at my side in a fight.
