History: Kaliera was born in Moonglade to her two parents, Koraii and Karst Swiftwind. Her two parents were active druids in the Cenarion Circle, and were said to be missing after a fairly important task. Kaliera never heard the details, nor whether or not they were lost or perished.

She was raised under the care of Dendrite Starblate, a Nightelf druid assigned to guide young druids on their path. Though his job was simply to teach and guide eager druids, he took Kaliera under his wing as if she were his own daughter. Several years passed before Kaliera, through teary eyes, explained to him that she was ready to move along her own path. Guided like hundreds of druids before her, Dendrite sent her off into the world to find her way.

She led a successful life, finding herself a natural in two forms of druidism, though she cared not for the third. She was an adept healer, and a powerful feral, known quite well for her expertice in combat.

Along her path she stumbled across a warrior roughly her age, though he still seemed to be finding his way along his own path. Her curious nature led her to him, and the pair conversed for hours. Fhenrir Phoenix was a far cry from Kaliera's personality, which is what intrigued her most about him. She found her weaknesses to be his strengths, and her strengths to be his weaknesses. Once he became more formidable with a blade, the two faught alongside flawlessly, and sparred often (their egos were one thing shared between them, though Kali would never admit her own). It was not long before the two finally formed an eternal bond, wed on the tallest peak in Feralas in front of Horde and Alliance alike.

A year had passed since then before Raina was born into the world, just another gift that life would give to the happy Mother and Father. It seemed like nothing could go wrong for her until a particular incident in Thousand Needles brought turmoil to Kaliera's mind. Her feral instincts left her, and were replaced by a form that was not her own. For her first time, she found herself in the feathery form of an owlbeast, and could feel nature's wrath tingling at the tips of her claws. The power felt was like a drug to her, and she often found herself giving into it, simply listening to that faint female voice in the back of her mind urging her to kill. Several times she found herself waking up in places she didn't remember falling to sleep in, sometimes with blood stained fur.

Her mind has become a bit more clear, as she found that staying back and mending other's wounds would keep herself from seeking her borrowed strength. Occationally though, she can still hear that voice calling out to her faintly, urging her to submit once more. These days, that faint voice is becoming hard to ignore...

Oh its the pretty cow-woman who goes around with the fun hats. I know her...well not personally but i recognize her. Shes lots of fun, not uptight like most of her kind that I seem to run into. That and shes got a nice fashion sense, thats pretty respectable to me.

"Ah, Kali! Great gal, that cow! Ol' Fhen really got lucky with her... hehe... bad phrasing. She fun to talk to the few times I manage to run into her, and her enchanted corn is facinating. Always seems to run off before much gets said though..

I wonder if it's my breath?"

That was the one with the floating warlock cowl, right?

Fhenrir smiles softly.

"I still consider myself a lucky tauren to have found love with her. My only regret is that I don't get to see her more often.

I suppose I can't really ask for all day from a busy tauren, especially since I have a lot more responsibility these days myself. I think it's good she doesn't have the time to spend all day with me, or I'd never get anything done."

Fhenrir blushes slightly and turns away. "At least we'll always have the evenings in Mulgore."

Kurohane raises an eyebrow. "Kaliera?" She hesitates, watching you warily. Finally she shrugs a bit and takes another sip of her cherry grog. "I don't know her that well, but the little we have written back and forth, she has earned my respet."

"I've only heard good things. Another I wouldn't mind seeing in person some day."

"Kaliera? Well, she's like family to me. She has been there to aid me so many times in the past that I don't think I'll ever be able to repay her for it."

While I've never met this one, I've heard such stories of her prowess in battle to make me awed.

Not just your average moonfire spam.

Another battle in the corridors of Dire Maul. While the true purpose of this place is unimportant... the current situation it finds itself in has its uses.

I have met a newcomer, a Tauren, that has perked my interest. She introduced herself as Kaliera, and she is one of the Druids that have come from the lands of Kalimdor. I have had very little contact with her kind, and what I have seen has not impressed me. She may change that... though I truly doubt it.

I will continue to watch her, and see her use. The Necromancer has made it known that he is interested in seeing more of the living who share our goals. I believe I will keep this one secret, as so much as one can from his eyes.
