Petopia (http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/) uptaded today with a little bit of closed beta pet goodness (so I posted it here, since it isn't illegal or unofficial information). For one, the new cats look like nelf druid cat form!! The dragonhawks look pretty cool, but I know they're going to get massively overused. There's a new spider model that's the same as the spider boss in Naxx, and it looks pretty evil. The spore bats look awesome, but it doesn't look like they'll make it past beta as tameable pets. The thing that has me going though is...

TWO-HEADED CARRION BIRDS?! holy crap those look awesome...

Still haven't found anything from the beta on new pet skills and such... still hoping for raptors getting dash.. 8O

I won't be happy til I can tame a giraffe or a zhevra, dammit.

Two perfectly good pets that litter the barrens and I can't tame one? That's just not right.

I mean, seriously. What the hell makes an ostrich more combat viable than a horse?

I'll never forget my first character on Eonar, a dwarf hunter, of the <Knights of Hyrule>. I ran around the Barrens trying to tame kodo, giraffes and zebras for like 3 days.

Burning Crusade = Kodos tameable please?

I've never been a fan of spider pets, and I know I might be biased because my guild is currently trying to kill Maexxna in Nax, but I love my spider pet!

My biggest heartache is that Bliz still hasn't delivered a spec ability to Hyenas.

My fave pet of all time was a hyena I tamed from the Blasted Lands. One of the silver/black ones.. I called him Meathead.

I had tamed Ravage, the elite one there, but he was just another purple hyena and once I learned the bite rank from him I ditched him to keep the silver one I tamed earlier.

Still, its good to see some more variety being added.

No no, of course I did! I just mean now I'll have a pet to look foreward to! *hugs!*
