Referrals

I was bored enough to be staring at the "Statistics" tab on a userpage and I noticed that in the very bottom section, there's a "Referrals" count. What does that mean exactly?

P.S.: Sorry if this is a dumb question, the last half hour at work on a Friday is totally the worst. ;)

When you register, there's a generic "referrer" question. So if you have 5 referrals, that means 5 people claimed you referred them to the site.

I don't use that information at all in this version of TNG, but next version might ;)

Might want to reset the count though, I know many people who refer themselves for alt accounts.

Heh, if somebody cares that much for virgin blood, I'd say let em have it. Folks trying to cheat the system for an rp community site probably got bigger problems to worry about.
