History: There is little to know of Abric's history, as he is selective and evasive about any inquiries of the subject. What he has shared and what can be known by the general public is limited.

Prior to Undeath, Abric was human. He has stated that he was alive during the First and Second War, but did not participate as a combatant. He did not participate in the Third War, but did die during the invasion of the Scourge. His death was due to his starvation while hiding, alongside Licidion, though it is not stated who found them afterwards.

Recently, Abric has began signing his correspondence with the last name, Perenolde. In the past, he has associated his name with a seal of a phoenix posed to dive, with a verticle line of four stars to the left.

Danlily says, "Oh, I knows that one, that Abric. he's a grouchy one. Real latty-tatty like a noble. Not like a mere land baron like some of my relatives, but like a real live, er, um, like a real dead noble." Danlily leans in closer and whispers, "don't you be telling him that I like him now, it'll just make him grouchier."

I've known this Forsaken since when *I* once served the Grim. There is a tolerance between us. Nothing more, nothing less.

"He kind of confuses me...but I think he does that on purpose. I am not sure whether or not this Forsaken is trustworthy. I do believe though, that his causes are similar to my own, so I suppose thats something."

Try a week;

Abric realizes that the Grim is a weapon. A weapon that is to be used by the Chieftain of the Clan. It's been interesting how this "Butler" has wielded the weapon in contrast with the old Chief mal-male--Maledictus and his odd tauren wife Snowfeather.

"Hmm...Abric. A pretentious one, always seeming to act like serving the Grim is some sort of privledge, a reward of some sort. Seeing how the Grim has fallen from their former glory, I wonder if he realizes that I am not 'humbled' by his presence.

Still he is a skilled fighter, and seems to have a -true- intelligence hidden behind his facade of superiority. Perhaps I judge too quickly. I'll have to get to know this one better..."

I often feel as if I'm Abric's only friend. I don't think he would call me his friend, yet I think of him as such. This being embodies some of the qualities I admire most. His dedication to excellence and overall ruthlessness are chief amongst them.

"Abric? 'E's mean. I don' like 'im much, an' I t'ink that's what 'e wants. Oh, I know, 'e'd say 'e don' care what I t'ink, an' prolly call me an amateur or whelp or summat like that... but I don' t'ink 'e wants ter be near people. I don' t'ink 'e wants people ter like 'im. I wish I knew why... sometimes I feel like there's summat important, summat sad about Abric what makes 'im push people away.

Then, 'e acts like an ass, an' I don' sodding care anymore."

"Abric? Sure he is full of himself, but he earns it. One of few I would go to battle with at any time for any cause. I can tolerate arrogance amoungst those with honour, after all there are few of us left..."

"The peacock prances about as if he is still some sort of land owner and as if all nobility didn't start from some sort of peasantry. Still... he is a demon with those blades and he is Grim. There are few other I would feel as confident to fight beside. As long as he is not standing behind me."

"Everyone thinks Abric is mean, but he was nice to me once. When he yells at me, or tells me I did something wrong, I know I deserved it. He is very smart. When people do what he says, we get the job done a lot better. I get confused sometimes, because he talks so smart. He says "Hm" a lot, so maybe he confuses himself sometimes too."

Abric is a Rogue whom i have great respect for.
He can be mean, but he puts rash acts and good skill together,
how can that happen or what is the result you say?
a good killing team which can move FAST... and i do mean when he is in a group, you can not wait around.

"Quite the peacock he is...has some notion that he is nobility of some sort. It matters not though. Although his words are often harsh and arrogant, they are only spoken when they have meaning, and cut to the heart of the matter. His deadly skill with his blades and his ability to lead The Grim through the most dangerous places has earned him the right to speak as he choses in my eyes."

*Liadain's eyes narrow slightly at the mention of the undead's name* Aye. I know him. He seems to like to toy with me... though I haven't a clue why... and I certainly don't like it.

Wait... I didn't mention something about Abric, before?

He's a pompous ass. He likes to think that he has the ability to use me. The only thing I respect is the fact that he's honest. Or at least, he's proven himself to be so far.

..did you say he's got a connection to Licidion?

*Vilmah growls and storms off, without another word*

"Well, it's been a while since I last commented on this rogue. Last time I had only seen a glimpse of him but... I'm starting to see more of him now and then. Hopefully more to come from that. He is rutheless and snide, but those are traits that someone as he has- Someone who has to direct and control, someone who must take charge. Despite his insults, he is a true leader. The tactics he uses are absolutely necessary on the field."

This one interests me, he appears and my fellow Grim stand a little taller and fight a little harder, he is like a taskmaster you love to hate and hate to love.

His words often cut to the core of the problem and beyond, what I thought I knew is challenged by him on every thing he has me do.

Redcap looks at the reporter and then at his surroundings. Lowering his voice "I wish I could be that talented and deft with a blade."

Venom and puss practically ooze from his personality. His tact and attitude leave much to be desired most of the time; however, he is not a preacher for those hiding amongst their own skirts. He is a leader for those seeking to punish and deal death. His methods are appropriate for his cause.

Bah, he be bothering the guildies too much. Be harassing them when they be doing things that they be needing to do.
He be having trouble keeping people who like to kill, not like to be doing things he be wanting them to do.

Still, his blades be bloodier than most, so he be doing something right.

I saw him walking through Silvermoon once. He was the baldest man ever. And for a human, he looked like he was about to starve to death. Still not sure why they let a human wander through Silvermoon, but...

Wait, Forsaken you say?

Abric, I remember a long time ago, I made him a splendid rich purple silk shirt. I made them for all of the Grim. The next day, I found it in my mailbox, with some note saying he didn't want it . I was so hurt! Who would return one of MY creations!

Seems he doesn't like finery , something about the trappings of humanity or such . He is grumpy, and tends to look after himself first and foremost. But he is an excellent rogue.

He is fun to irritate.

I prefer to view the rogue as a taskmaster and leave him to that, mastering his tasks. I've learned never to take him too seriously. This is perhaps a mistake, but it helps maintain the sanity of those of us who don't understand him and really would rather not.

He seems to be one of the few who recognizes the disparity between my distaste for the human race and the history of the Forsaken. That's fine. I find working together is easier when there is no false pretence at friendship.

He is far to upset at times and is too smart for his own good at other times.

Ah, such terrible pain in this one...I have known him for quite some time.

My faith in dear Abric, The Butler and our Mistress is unwavering.

Yet...such pain.
I would so very much like a chance to ministrate to him and end such suffering.

"Abric? A pompous ass, arrogant and demeaning to everyone around him. He is harsh, brutal, and uncompromising to allies and enemies alike. If he were an ounce less abrasive, I could possibly see myself working with him.

"And if he were an ounce less effective, I could actually sleep well knowing I don't."

"I had the opportunity to work VERY briefly with this one. He is... harsh. He did not immediately alienate me, as he seemed to do to so many. Perhaps it is because his opinion of me does not concern me, save as it reflects on my liege. In any case, I hope I get the chance to work with him again."

Ah? This one? The Rogue? I believe I remember him, yes.. It is a shame his intellect and time is wasted on a completely false ideology that has in mind goals of which will never be achieved.

Alivar narrows his eyes, with a subtle scowl. Sighing afterward, although it appears more of a huff than anything.

I would hope that it does not take strategic brilliance in this time, to realize that you cannot bring the Alliance, a faction with numbers in the many thousands to its knees, with but a few dozen. Sadly, it would seem that since before the opening of the Dark Portal, until.. now, there are a few that waste time and effort, unable to see this reality.

Whether we like it or not, the Alliance are not going away in the near future. Unless by causes other than the Horde. You may kill as many of them as you wish, however there are more than a few in the world who practice resurrection and are able to give.. "second chances", to those who deserve.
