"Oh? The pink one? Well, as funny as his little dress looks, he's quite powerful. A good symbol for all that the Forsaken is. I just wish he had some differant robes..."

Lupen mutters as he has a strange feeling roll across his spine. He looks around, and then down at his new Felheart Robes, perfectly unholy, his former "Pink" robes tucked away in the Bank.

"Though a had a certain dislike for this warlock...he has more than proven himself worthy. He has since earned my respect as an ally."

One of the first friends I made when first arising from my little disaster. He's very dear to me, although we've drifted apart. Different paths, I guess, but I'm sure they'll cross again.

Always found warlocks hard to like. Consorting with demons tends to drive one mad and make one bad company. This one is good at his job and... amusing if not altogether friendly. Lupen fails less than any other 'lock I've gotten to know.

"Lupen? I dunno... 'e kinda scares me. 'E seems ter know so much, an' 'e always 'as some demon or another 'round 'im. Still, 'e's a Grim, right? Besides, whenever I talk ter 'im, 'e's encouragin'. An' like I said, 'e knows so much. I'd 'elp Lupen. I trust Lupen, much as I trust any corpse. More'n most."

*From the scrolls of Skyze Val'Thoxis*

"...Lupen. Another pompous Warlock. One day his arrogance will get the best of him, I suspect. Though it is not entirely without foundation, for I would be a fool to not admit his prowess in combat. He is powerful among the Forsaken, and has my respect at the very least, even if I care little for him...

"Lupen is powerful and smart, and he always blushes when I hug him. I liked his pink dress better though."

"Lupen," Danlily pauses in thought, "What can I say without sounding like a gushing sister? Not that we were close, but he will always be special in my memories. I met him when I first came from Silvermoon to spy for my people. Sure, looking like a troll made me fit in, but not being raised with them, well it made me kind of stick out at times. Lupen made me feel more at home amongst the horde. He is always there to help when one needs it, but he's never a push-over. Of course, I've always had a sweet spot for the undead, but especially so for Lupen. He's always kind to me."

"Lupen was mere babe when he came to us. Now he consumes everything that stands in his path."

He knows his craft, which is a complete mystery to me.
I will always defend him, for he is Grim, we will see where his power takes him.

"Sticks out a hand" "Got a healthstone mon?" "Taps Lupen on the shoulder". Aye, Lupen be a useful one alright! Er, excuse me while ah avoid dis soulfire...
*Ahem* <laughs> But ta tell it to ya troo, Lupen be a skilled an' powerful practitioner, an' stubborn ta boot. Not quite sho' why, but ah like dat. Demonic magic be very powerful, an' it be good dat a competent hand guides it against da Alliance an' otha enemies.

Such a lovely person. He always smells of fresh death and venereal disease.

"Sometimes I feel as though I shouldn't look at him." The tiny warlock turns her face towards you; the gaping hollows of her eyes, as ever, unblinking. "It almost feels like looking at someone naked and not knowing what it is you see because you're too young to understand. I don't feel that shame with others, and I know better than to ask him about what I see. If they are things he doesn't share with those closer to him...well, I shouldn't pry."

"The crimson is almost enough to obscure the blue, but not quite. Not quite."

"Lupen... was that his name? I remember feeling a sense of power, of fear. I could almost taste the stink of the demons on him. He radiated menace. I have never felt so cold in all my life. It took all I had to kneel before him and speak the words of peace. I cannot understand what he said, but he and his Grim cronies left me alive.

Why?"

I havent had much contact with lupen. All I can say is that he is one of the few beings that I truly stay out of his way and listen when he speaks.

Lupen? Omigawd! I used to think he was like totally mean and wicked and evil and junk, but he bought me my tabard!

He makes my skin crawl and I would prefer to stay as far away from him as possible. However I must begrudgingly admit I am still breathing because of this callous piece of rot. I suppose that’s worth something.

Lupen definitely does good work, and curiously enough, without him, I may never have learned of the Grim. However, there are reasons that I have developed a tendency to seek out other warlocks amongst the Grim when I have need of one's services.

"Dread Magus Vakov... conspicuously absent, recently. He has always terrified me, even when he was mentoring Acherontia. I always felt weighed, measured, and found wanting in some area.

"My lingering blood chills at the thought of whatever twisted dementia has absorbed his time of late."
