I wrote a lovely rant here now but I feel much better, feel free to delete.

I was just unhappy about the behavior of some in the RP realm. Now that I have vented, I feel lighter and happier. Thanks for reading my emotional/relentless ranting.

Hey, if you want a guild without Judgement, you can always join us in the Scourge Slayers.

IC, its a guild of individuals who are really only connected by the fact that they don't like the scourge.

OOC, its an alt guild, and a refuge for people from TNG (and TNG only) to get in with a small group of RPers and have fun. Scourge Slayer may not be what you are looking for, if you want big end game plans and all that, although several of us do have pretty good connections if you ever need a group.

No meetings, no code of conduct either. You can be pious as a saint, or dance naked on mailboxes....I don't mind either. But the best thing....No drama.

Anyway, yell if you want in. Open door policy, so if you don't like it I won't cry and say mean things either. We're pretty laid back, like the middle aged stoner neighbors down the street....But with weapons.

Snowstorm, sorry you had a bad run in with your past too. I can empathise completely, having been there myself. Just remember, as long as you are cool and having fun, it doesn't matter what others think.

Umm... not to be an insensitive jerk or anything... but I've never left a guild ^.^

Granted, I was EXTREMELY fortunate to fall in with Citadel in its somewhat early days...

We've all been there.

Eh... If it'll make ya feel better...

Yeah, I probably wouldn't be on TN still if it wasn't for IFR..

RPers are the worst people when it comes to 'feelings' and 'fairness.' We all want to be the hero of the story... and we all know how that goes when twenty General Patton's fill the room.

Don't let it get you down, though. I recall you saying something about guild issues - it happens. Best thing to do is:

A) Communication.

B) Understanding.

.. I think you said something about somebody underhanding you as well. If folks can't judge you by your actions instead of your word of mouth - just shows you how they roll. There are a lot of people out there, and you aren't blackmarked by them all! Unless, of course, you are a non-RPer. But you aren't, so you are good to go!

FYI: Don't dance on the mailbox.

Oh really? *Cackles*

Well... maybe 'hero' wasn't the right term.

Center of attention? The actor instead of supporting actor? The Batman to people's Robin's. Tom Sawyer instead of Huckleberry Fin?

I always thought playing the off-beat side characters was most fun.

Like Steve Buscemi's roles in Adam Sandler flicks.

Supporting-role is sometimes just as good, as you seem to bring about some of the plot movements, and the "hero" can't do jack shit without his supporting-cast member.

In the battlegrounds, I am the Hero
In the dungeons, I am the support
