This story starts with Tagord on board the Exodar. It was not the true beginning, but there
are no true beginnings or endings in this world, only the events of lives.

Tagord looked hard at his brother Lakint. They were sitting in thier room together, and Tagord
knew something was wrong. His brother kept to himself however, and Tagord wouldn't pry.So he
waited for any movement that would open up room for a question. His brother suddenly gave a
huge grin, though it was there for half a second."And what would you be smiling about brother?"
Tagord said, seizing the oppurtunity."Well,Tago,it seems that Mother has been teaching Silni
the ways of a priest. As you can imagine,Father didn't like it very much, since he wants all
of us to grow up as blacksmiths.I can't imagine what he would do if he found out you were
training under Vindicator Mikolaas!" "You know he just wants us to be safe Lakint. However,he
must see that we can't just stand by while the Burning Legion murders us all!I wish Mother
would tell him he's being foolish."

At that moment,Silni, thier sister, burst into the room."You dirty rat!You told Father
Mother was teaching me!"she said, pointing towards Lakint."Oh,you found out about that?Hehe,
umm,I have to go!"he said, running out the door."He told Father?" "Oh yes,and you better run!
He told Father about your teaching as well that bloody snitch!" Just at that moment, thier
Father came arouind the corner with a smile on his face. So,may i ask why you want to fight?"
"I thought you would be angry?"Tagord said with a confused look on his face."I was,but your
sister has explained to me why you want to do this. You know I am just trying to keep you all
safe,but...i suppose its time i let you off your leash so to say"he said with a laugh.

It was one of the greatest moments of Tagord's life. His father and him had fought for
years about this until Tagord had been forced to tell him he had
stopped training and continue it in secret. However,he suddenly saw a bright red light
pulsating, then an explosion and screams. As he snapped back to reality,he collapsed onto
the floor."Tago! Are you okay?"With his father and sister standing over him,he slipped into
his dreams...

When Tagord awoke,it seemed as if the entire ship was shaking like a small child's
rattle. He ran out of his room,to find soldiers and technicians running about. He followed them
to the bridge of the ship, where he could see they were plunging towards a strange planet. The
next thing he knew, some blood elves rushed in.Tagord spun around as thrown dagger plunged
into his stomach. He staggered a bit, then looked up into the blood elf who had thrown the
dagger's eyes. She looked scared, and when she saw Tagord, she mouthed the words "Forgive me" and
started to sob as the soldiers rushed in to attack him and the other blood elves.Tagord fell
to his knees, and succumbed to gravity, falling on his face.He looked up and started to crawl
towards the exit, desperate to find his family. Then, bright light started to come in from the
viewports. He had the chance to see the sky before the ship made it's hard landing.

Explosions.Fire.Screams and blood,chaosand confusion.And always,the pain.These were
the only things Tagord could see and feel. Then,a hand burst into his vision, destroying the
world Tagord had entered."Please...help..me"a nearby blood elf said.Tagord saw her,and knew
it was the one who had thrown the dagger. For a minute,he was blinded by rage.He wanted to
leave her there, let her suffer. But something in her eyes had told Tagord that her life was
not something she liked. That she was a good person made horrible by circumstance.Tagord
started to reach for her hand, and at that moment felt an energy flowing into him,and he felt
no pain.He rose, grabbed the woman's hand, and carried her away from the crash sit into
a nearby forest.Tagord looked back...and set the woman down, going in to look for his family.

He worked his way into the ship from a hatch that was on the outside, and walked
through the rubble and debris to the room his family shared. He saw the bodies of his father
and mother, holding each other with bloody hands. His brother and sister rose up,and looked
at him."Tagord...is that you?"his sister asked."Yes,it's me.Thank the Naaru you're alive.Are..
Are Mother and Father...dead?"he said, his voice trembling.Silni sniffed and said"Y...yes.
Lakint is hurt..I don't know if he will make it."Tagord walked over to his parent's bodies,
kissed thier foreheads and gently took thier rings,to wear as a sign of honor to his parent's
meemory. He walked over to his sister and helped her hold thier brother up.

As he led them out of the hatch,he remembered the blood elf."Follow me to the forest..
there's someone i have to see."They walked away from the crash, into the forest with the blood
elf.When they got there,Silni gasped."Tagord...do you know her?""Yes..it is no matter.Please.
We will deal with this in the later.Let us rest."With that, they all gathered around a tree, and
slept.

When he woke, the Blood Elf was sitting across from him, staring at him."I...I know you.
I am truly sorry for all i have done...including that especially"she said, gesturing to the
dagger wound with a long finger."Your friend...he has died.I woke during the night, with him
grabbing my arm.He said to me,"Please.Tell my family...I love them. The Naaru beckon me....I must go.",...he died
soon after"he said.Tagord looked over, saw a freshly dug pile of dirt, then noticed his sister
was gone."He...he was my brother.Do you know where my sister is?" "She left during the night.
Just got up,saw your brother dead, and dug a grave with her fingers. When she was done burying
your brother, she just walked into the forest.Just...walked like a ghost or something..."
"I..I see. What would your name be?" "My name is Landiam Dawnblade,Adept of the Blood Knights.
May I inquire to know the identity of my rescuer?"she said with a smile."Vindicator Tagord of
the Hand of Argus." "Ah,thank you.I..I feel the need to say that I truly am sorry for that
damn dagger.I never did want to be invovled in this bloody war...I heard that the Blood Knight
Order here has rebeled against that bastard Kael'Thalas.I think I should pay a visit, hmm?" "I
wouldn't know. This is my first encounter with the whole planet..Though I must say,You seem to
be the only friend,if I may call you that,I have on this planet.I think we should stick around
with each other,if only to find out about this place" Landiam smiled, and said,"I think that's
a great idea. And,by the way...I am fine being called that...friend..sounds great to me!"

So,Tagord returned to Ammen Vale, and helped with the rebuilding of society. When the
other Draenei met Landiam, they raised their weapons, preparing to fight. However,Tagord showed
them how she was not like the others, and eventually he was accepted into the society.3 days after
Tagord's coming to Ammen Vale,he was sitting in his small room that he shared with Landiam
when he started thinking of his parents. He reached in his pocket and pulled out the rings.
He put one on his index finger and another on his middle finger. As he put them on,they started
turning bright red and suddenly his hand was engulfed in a painless fire.He started to try to
put out the fire instinctively, then he saw that it was creating a small stream heading towards
his wrist. He watched as his entire hand was engulfed in a strange red mist, and then the rings
seemed to melt over his hand, encasing his hand in the blood of his parents, forming a diamond
hard shell of blood around his hand.So it was that he earned the title of Bloodfist.

After helping Ammen Vale ,Landiam and Tagord continued over the isle, helping Azure Watch,
the Stillpine Tribe, and eventually moving into Exodar,he and Landiam had gradually become close
friends.Throughout thier many adventures on Azuremyst Isle,Landiam had even seen how the
Blood Knight teachings were wrong and horrible. She dedicated herself to learning more about
the Light and the teachings of being a paladin.

"So,we move on to Bloodmyst Isle."tagord said, looking at the river which seperated the
two Isles."Yep.You know, when I was in Exodar's Inn,I heard someone mention a guild called the
Invictus Sanctum. They are said to take in all that try to help others, and they might be the
one group of people that would accept me.Do you think we should check it out?" "Yes...it would
be nice not to have to always be hiding, and having to prove ourselves to people to have them
accept us.Where can we find them?" "I have heard that they tend to meet in the Westfall Garrison
on Sunday. We can meet there when we have finished our work in Bloodmyst Isle"she said with a smile.
Landiam looked at Tagord and said:

In this world full of hurt and pain,
I need someone who would help me through the rain.
To comfort me when Im sad,
Doing everything just to make me glad.

In this world I need a Brave Knight,
Who would never give up any fight.
A knight who would dry away my tears,
Telling me to overcome my fears.

A knight who loves me for who I am inside,
With him there's nothing more I need to hide.
A person who will still be standing strong,
Eventhough everything has gone wrong.

I need someone who is willing to give me more,
Someone I can call my Knight In Shining Armor.

"You are him"she said with a shy smile. They looked at each other, realizing that they truly
loved each other.Tagord loooked at her, looked into her eyes and could see his feelings
reflected there. He leaned in to kiss her, feeling the most sure about it than anything. As
Landiam and Tagord sat there in thier moment of passion, enjoying each other's embrace,in
spite of the turmoil and chaos that had surronded them for thier whole lives.

When they reached Bloodmyst Isle, they were told of the Naga Warlord Lord Xiz.Together,
they went to the Wrathscale Lair to hunt him down. However, upon getting there, they found a hole
in the side of the building which led them to a ledge. From there they could see that they had
walked into a Naga gathering. The Wrathscale Warlords Sriss'Tiz ans Lord Xiz were there, along
with Queen Azshara and Fathom-Lord Karathress."By the Light! There's no way we could get in
there without being slaughtered!"Landiam whispered."I agree.we need to tell the Prophet Valen
about this."As they turned to leave,a piece of the ledge crumbled and Landiam was thrown off
the ledge, right into the meeting. She looked up at Tagord brfore she was siezed and brought up
to the Naga.Tagord saw them talking to her,and he waited, hoping and praying to the Naaru that
they would send her away and he could save her. They tried to interrogate her,and got nothing.
Thrown into a fit of Wrath,Lord Xiz hoisted her up and held a dagger to her throat. As he
pulled the dagger back to kill her,Tagord roared and leaped off the ledge, pulling his blade
and impaling Xiz in the heart, instantly killing him.He grabbed Landiam and went for Sriss'Tiz.
The naga gathered around him and he fought fiercly, staving off most of them and killing all
but Queen Azshara. As he fought, never tiring,he screamed in rage and pain at the Naga's tridents.
Then,Queen Azshara came behind him and stabbed him in the chest. The world went red for him.
He fell to the ground and tried to crawl to Landiam.Queen Azshara grabbed a trident, and
impaled her."Shall we finish them off?"the Naga asked in thier disgusting voice."No.They will
die soon enough."Queen Azshara left followed by her Naga.Tagord, got up,pulled the trident from
his chest and took a few staagering steps to his love."Noooo!!!" he screamed. He fell to his
knees and pulled the trident from her,"Tagord...I will always love you..." "I love you too
Landiam. Please, please stay with me.Don't go..." "I must my love...the Naaru beckon me.
Goodbye...my love...my Knight..."

And with that, she died and Tagord's mind snapped. He let out an animal roar and rushed
out.He ran after the Naga and slayed all of them in his wrath. He ran, with injuries that should
have killed him,and slayed,and fought,feeling no pain,with one thought pounding,pounding in
his brain until it became the only thought...KILL AZSHARA.He butchered them all until he was
at the sea.He grabbed thier Queen and threw her to the beach. He cut off her arm and beat her
with his shield until it was a bent piece of wood.Despite it all,she unleashed a blast of
energy that knocked him back."FOOLISH DRAENEI!YOU ARE BUT A CHILD!I AM THE GREATEST MORTAL
MAGE THAT HAS EVER LIVED!YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME!"With that, she grabbed him and threw him like
a ragdoll into the sea.Naga came rising from the depths, tearing him and ripping out whatever
they could get a trident on.He was as good as dead, when a paladin,Kirana saw him.She took
him from the waters to Westfall Garrison, and her and her guild managed to heal his wounds, and
over time,his mind.

Tagord looked around him, reassuring himself of where he was.He had the same dream,
every night. He saw her death every night. He hadn't talked to anyone since that day other than
Kirana, the woman who had brought him to the Garrison. He remembered when he met the guild for
the first time.Well, the first time he could see anything without screaming her name in a
desprate plea. When he had learned what guild it was,he had burst into tears, remembering that
day on the beach. Now,he was to join them.He had mostly recovered from that day,but he would
always remember her.He was a long way from the cheerful, happy person he had once been. Now,he is a broken husk of himself. He knows he can never love again, for as one of his closest friends had said:True love never dies.

*Written in a worn journal 4 days before his induction into the Invictus Sanctum*

Yes...In fact,I recently met a man in my travels. He was in a small house in the Eastvale Logging Camp.He said that his name was Lindias. As i talked with him,he started twisting and jerking.I tried to help him,but then he started speaking on a strange voice. He seeemed to regain him self long enough to tell me of his heritage, and of a woman who had tried to save him.He asked me,"Please. Please kill me.I...I cannot put people in danger any longer.Go..to the small inn at Goldshire.Tell my daughter...tell her she is safe now."Seeing him there, completely desperate,I felt the only thing I could do to ease his suffering was to grant his wish. So,I pulled out my Blade of Argus, and quietly thrust it into his chest. It was the worst thing I have ever done, but with his few last breaths,he seemed at utter peace and happiness.I went to the inn at Goldshire, and it happens that she was never there.Upon further questions,it had turned out he had made her in his mind.A beacon of light amidst the dark happenings of his life.In truth,we all need that beacon.I have lost mine, but I know that to sink into my previous state would be horrible.I will sometimes go off in the night so noone will see me,and go to that place on the beach.Sometimes,I see her spirit, just out of the corner of my eye.Whenever I am here,I will rest there for the night. It is the only time my dreams are peaceful.I imagine,or maybe it is real, that whenever I am leaving that place,I hear her saying "Goodbye,my Knight."I have broken down my wall, but I will never forget.I will never forgive.I WILL open myself to trust others and let them help.I trust now,but true love never dies, and memories never die.

Tagord...

You are right, true love never dies. You and I both know that. You lost the one being that you loved most in this world. I feel for you. I have lost that person as well. He was a Paladin like myself. He was telling me, that he would never get himself killed. That he would always be there for me. I never should have believed him, but I did. My heart was naive at that point in time. He was the first person, who I had ever met, who truly cared for me. And what happened to him, you ask? He went and got himself killed. By Arthas, none the less. I wasn't there, as he lay on the stone floor, slowly bleeding out. I wasn't strong enough to be there with him. To fight alongside him, and his comrades. A few days later, as I was traveling through Elwyyn Forest, I got news of his death, from his daughter. He was dead, never to return.

Still... Keeping a wall built up around your heart, will do you no good. All it will do is keep the pain and suffering locked inside. You don't want that... No one does. It makes you more vulnerable to the darkness that lurks inside each of one us. I've seen firsthand what happens when the darkness fully consumes a being. I won't go into detail. Let's just say, that it's not pretty or pleasant in the very least. Light can not exist with out dark. Dark can not exist without light. Good can not exist without evil. Evil can not exist without good. What I'm trying to say is there is a balance in each being's life. When you find that balance, you will be at absolute peace, until the moment you pass away.
