The Crimson Lord and You: A Comprehensive Guide to Your WoW

Mukis here, with another announcement! “The Crimson Watch” is recruiting! We have blasted in to end-game content but still retain our RP “ing” ways. We are now running weekly runs into ZG, on top of are already scheduled RP Events, Raids, Global PVP events, Guild BG Runs, and tons more! Let me give you a little more information on each individually!

Instances:

Always members on to group with for almost any instance, many higher levels to help in those “tough situations”

We Run UBRS,LBRS,Scholo,Strat,DM and others many times throughout to week!

Just started running ZG, and we are getting very excited about progressing further!

RP Events:

Weekly we participate in Guild-wide RP Events ranging from cult like behavior to Walking single file spreading our message from Orgrimmar to Undercity.

Each recruit is entered into the guild at peon status until they complete there initiation qualifications and sacrifice themselves to the Crimson Lord!

Other RP Events will include Alliance guilds that have aligned with us for some great war opportunities and storylines!

World PVP:

During the week we have at least one world pvp event in which we bombard alliance in many different ways, for example some of these events have been; Full blown assaults on Menethil Harbor and hostile takeover of there transportation.. Another event we took over the Deeprun Tram, and controlled it for hours. In another event we trained high level mobs into Darkshire to feast on alliance.

Battlegrounds:

Not only do we have a specific scheduled day each week but we continually are queued for multiple Battleground as a guild.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for members that our 18 years of age or older, Enjoy RPing but also enjoy everything else the game has to offer. We want dedicated members who want to do end game either now or in the near future. We are a very close-knit guild and leadership is outstanding. All classes and levels can apply! All members are also required to take advantage of out Ventrilo server.

This is not a small guild, this guild IS doing ZG, and will very soon be in MC and BWL.

Gah. I hate evil-cultish guilds. Any *pure* evil character would. No pure evil character could follow a demon. :P

...unless they lack brain cells.... *cough*

But you're already in a guild and I think people do have the choice to RP how they wish be it good, neutral, or evil.

I totally agree Longcat. Everyone has the right to have their own themes, this allows us to have diversity in the community, it would be borring if we were all honorable or evil.

I totally agree. The Watch and their cultish theme is something that gives variety to the community of guilds. This is a good thing. Having a large diversity in themes amongst our RP guilds gives a wider variety of niches where a player's character can make a fit that works for them, more choices.

We aren't all horde-honorable, or horde-evil, or horde cultish, or horde-voodoo, horde-forsaken. The variety of guild types is something else I really enjoy about Twisting Nether. Hell, just the fact that people are putting thought into their theme, giving their guilds RP backgrounds is just awesome.

Horde-voodoo? Ooo, where's that?

You keep saying this as though you know what exactly it is they "worship"...

I have to agree with Danlily. The more interesting guilds, the more choices people have when choosing one. The Watch is unique, and that's a good thing. They are different from The Immortalis, or Infection, etc., and that's a good thing. Diversity in RP!

Hiring spies? That doesn't really sound honorable or good oriented. Why not just go and ask them in person?

(( Zusteakai.. can you do me a favor? If you are going to post such strong opinions, can you please note that they are IC comments? As a moderator for these forums, it is important that your IC and OOC are very clear. I do not want the Crimson Watch to think that a moderator here OOC doesn't like them. Thanks.))

Do your hunters have trophies of the fallen spies?

We do not kill spies once found. It is easier to apply misdirection that way.

((Yes, but they clearly do not know of all of them. To tell you the truth, I've got spies *within* their guild they are totally unaware of. *cackle*))

((Until now.. duh. You are a strange one.))

I might be interested......If not for members of the guild slaying horde auctioneers using the mark of shame (and no, they were not RPing) then having the leadership just accept what they have done ^^

((ACtually, though you may know of the spies OOC, you can't act on it unless your character knows. So, I'm no so stupid after all. :P ))

((You don't get to point the metagaming finger, bud. You harassed me IC about an assassination you could've only heard about in OOC. ))

((IC or OOC, don't matter. Having spies out of or in the guild just makes for more fun. :P Bring on the SPYING!!!!!))
