I have to say, I am a HUGE fan of the cloth looking like cloth. I am also a HUGE fan of the high collar and low hat.

well for example, BC recycled old tier sets and recolored them, but they at least had different stuff for everybody levelling up, rather than mages looking like priests looking like warlocks and paladins looking like warriors and so on.

I really do disapprove of recoloring armor. Every single cloth dress as you leveled through northrend looked the damn same. It does sort of make up for it with the awesome hat...but only slightly.

And honestly...if the world goes all chunky and there is lava everywhere, wont it be hot? Can us girls all stop dressing up like amish women? I dont think we would be brutalized in the street if our armor started showing some skin again...

While generic leveling armor isn't my favorite thing, I'd be lying if I said I prefer the vanilla's mismatched scraps, or worse, the outland clown suit.

I would recommend looking at old armor from Vanilla. Every woman looked like skanks.

I hope this is a sign of the direction of future armor sets. Things get so chaotic so quickly with armor in WoW. It's like they kick off an expansion with "here's some nice, simple shoulders" before it quickly degenerates into "WE'RE OUT OF IDEAS SO HERE'S THE SAME SHOULDERS BUT GLOWY AND WITH FLOATY BITS".

at first i didn't dig it to much, but quite frankly, It is fucking amazng, mages are finally getting cool gear that is end game tier raid gear, god seeing the typical old fashioned robes from vanilla wow and the hood and shit makes me think of cranius and his incredibly amazing song "Big Blue Dress" That guy was my inspiratioon to lvl a mage when i first startd.... and the reason it took me forever to lvl is back then i would go as far out of my way as nesscary to kill that ally that just rode by, and my poor lvling buddy who was a warlock would always sigh when i start chasing them in the middle of a quest but he alas would always come with me to save my ass when all his buddies came to save him from being corpse camped by my mage unholywrath... ahh just th frost mage and affli lock, vanilla wow, rofl raping wave after wave of allince, god i miss those days!

Also I took this like it was the pre-raid armor, like the armor you can get while in 5 man groups that helps prepare you for raiding (tier 0 & 0.5 and I dunno what they called Dungeon Set 3 since I wasn't around during that time)

but if this is the base design of what cloth wearers get that is fine too, because it looks pretty cool.

Well I believe its because of the fact that the "collar" is actually part of the headpiece.

See on the one missing the headpiece (female worgen) and how she is also missing the "collar" so its less of a giant collar (though it looks like that on a full set) and more like a mask/hat combo.

Also the cleavage can easily be covered with a basic red shirt (or another color if you want an ascot)
