(( Since these seem to be all rage lately.))

One of many fliers now littering the Orc capitals and the Filthy Animal, and where-ever they could have wound up. It reads first in Taurahe, and then in Orcish:

Let the spirits guide you to the Main rise of Thunderbluff on the 23rd day. A feast will be laid out to celebrate the coming of midsummer, and the powers of An'she, giver of light and the right eye of the Earthmother.

Present only in the Orcish text: Free Food and Drinks!

Let the spirits guide you to the Main rise of Thunderbluff on the 23rd day. A feast will be laid out to celebrate the coming of midsummer, and the powers of An'she, giver of light and the right eye of the Earthmother.

Ansha Saeralyan picked up a flyer as it fluttered along the ground. Peering over the top of her spectacles at the text, her face lit up in a wry smile.
"Light, but those tauren have good taste in deities. Although, they spelled my name wrong."

She chuckled to herself and tossed the flyer over her shoulder as she continued on her way.

Guldaba could only recognize a few of the Taurahe words. "Thunderbluff", "23", and "An'she" which he knew was a deity of some sort. He then sees "Free food and drinks" in orcish. "I'll be sure to stop at Thunderbluff on the 23rd day to do business. This 'An'she' interests me." he says to himself, trying to cover up his real interest; free food.

Grainia stopped on her way into the Inn as she noticed ANOTHER flyer.

'Free drinks? I'll be there for sure!'

Nakona

Nakona stands hunched at the wall by the flyer, a spare piece of parchment pressed up beside it against the flat surface as she tries to hastily copy the information. She scribbles out the date, tongue poking from the side of her mouth in concentration and tail switching back and forth behind her. Despite her efforts at neatness, her copy is smudged and wrinkled from the weight of her hands.

She tucks her stick of charcoal behind one ear for a moment, freeing both hands for her paper. She holds it up, squints, turns it around, and finally shrugs as she folds it and shoves it into her bag.

"I could never miss this. I should bring something of my own to share, too."

Jadoko glanced at the flier, noticing that most of it is in Taurahe.

"Blah blah, Tauren-cow speak, mon. I dunno why anyone be tinkin' it be a good idea ta write in Tauren-cow speak..."

He glances down at the bottom, where "Free food and drinks!" is located.

"'Ey! Now ja be speakin' my language. Dun' care 'bout da rest of it. I be makin' plans ta come to dis should da DeathRace Circuit be a success."

*Picks up the paper and gives it a once over*

Well, I have never actually BEEN to the Tauren city, I should rather like to visit and this could be very entertaining. I will definately be there.

*returns the flier to where it was hanging and continues his patrol*

(Seriously I have never been to Kalimdor as a Horde HA.))

((I need Masque to stop being missing. >=/ ))

A scantily dressed troll enters the Filthy Animal, setting down at the tables to enjoy her lunch. Nearby a group of Tauren females are chattering excitedly about a midsummer feast in Thunder Bluff. Listening in, she decided that such an event was a good place to showcase her exotic dancing for potential customers. Deciding against lunch, Cerenade proceeded upstairs to practice her routine.

Lysimachus

"Oh, I do enjoy a good party." Lysimachus helped himself to several more servings of dumpling as he read over the notice on the wall; he saw himself to Orgrimmar on occasion for the purpose of his favorite troll dumplings, crafted finely by a local business. If he'd had any idea what went IN to the dumplings, it is likely he would not be such an avid customer. "Do those Tauren really KNOW anything about Midsummer, though?"

Shoving another dumpling into his mouth, he scurried off, shaking his head. "Well," he continued speaking to himself through the mouthful, "we'll just have to see about educating them, I suppose. And what's this, free food? If the helling troll wenches are cooking, then mayhap I'll not mind it a bit!"

Stopping at one of the poster boards as she blinked lightly her eyes skimming the randomly pieces of paper. Seeing the one newer than the rest, Reaching out and pulling it free of it's holding Ada'Maris started to read through it slowly a small smile coming to her weary face.

" Hmm.. I might attend.. if I get a break from.. the alliance riff raff.. who continue to try to break into our cities.." she grumbled lightly before reaching up and tacking the flyer back up. " Maybe I will not get the chance.. though..we shall see" she muttered as she started to walk away from the flyer board.

(( While brief (due to lack of deep lore to pull from), I feel that this had gone well. Thanks to all those who attended, and to those who wished to attend but could not due to RL or in game scheduling conflicts :) ))
