((Preferably a Female Troll, but anyone is welcome, and we can see where it takes us.))

The hot sun beat down upon her dark fur. Slowly she crept through the grass… Every step, she placed her paw to not make a sound. She was so close to the ground she could feel her belly fur lightly touch the earth as she shifted with each step. Amadare has not lost sight of her prey. Its head lightly bobbing as it walks, a red scaly hide looks thick, but her claws were freshly sharpened and she had been working on her bite… “This will be worthy prey.” She thinks as she takes notice of its large claws on its feet and sharp row of teeth. He Brother and Father were both great Hunters, but they could not hold a candle to feral instincts. Sniffing the air, she was down wind and could smell the reptilian oils on its hide, but more importantly was the absence of fear… This told her that it was not aware of its impending end… Ears forward she takes two more steps closer, and starts to tuck her back paws under her, readying for the pounce. One ear swings back, hearing a sound of a dying plains strider, in the distance. Paying it no mind, Amadare waits for it to sniff the ground.

“Now!!”

Leaping up and onto the beast, claws extended, she bites down for the neck, but the raptor dodge the attack and clamps down on her right shoulder with it’s powerful jaws. Shaking her hard, it throws her up and away, so that it can pounce itself. Landing on her paws, she realizes stealth is not the best form… With a roar, she shifts into her larger bear form, as the raptor jumps at her, feet extended claws bared. Charging forward, she blocks the feet with her left paw and clubs the reptile, with her right paw, tearing its face open. The pain from the wound making her anger race, she starts a barrage of frontal paws strikes. The raptor falls to the constant wounds inflicted by the large grey bear, its leg twitching slightly as it succumbs to the final death. Shifting back into her cat form she bites down on the neck of her fallen prey, and drags it to the shade of a near by tree, the lions of the plain start to walk over, But Amadare lets out a roar the that tells them this is her kill and she will fight to protect it!

Licking her shoulder to clean out any bacteria that the raptor might have infected her with, she looks back at her fresh kill. “Meat…”She takes her first bite and starts to purr content with her meal, she looks up to see a male Tauren standing with a female Troll. They are looking at her in wonderment and confusion. Nodding to the Tauren she goes back to eating. She has never been attacked by a Tauren so didn’t expect to have to defend herself against the Hunter. The Troll on the other hand… All of her “kind” she had encountered, had been hostile, so she kept an eye on that one… Taking her second bite, the Male raises his rifle and points it at her. Slowly shaking her head back and forth, she tries to tell him no, but then she sees the flash! The pain hits her back leg, before she hears the loud “Bang!” The Troll looks as though she is protesting to the Tauren as he starts to reload his rifle. Amadare’s ears fold back and her purr changes to low growl. “He shot ME!” Charging at her cat forms full speed, she leaps at the now frightened Tauren. In mid flight, she shifts to bear form and slams the Tauren off his hoofs, and onto his back! She slashes his arm as he tries to swing at her and bites down on his head. Though he is a strong bull, he is still young and no match for her power. He tries to catch his wind that had been knocked out of him, by the massive bear that has now firmly gripped his head in its mouth. She sinks her teeth into his skull and pulls him up to his knees as she shakes vigorously, tossing him around like a child. Her vision has turned to red with rage. “This person shot her for no reason. He is no Hunter… He is a Poacher! One who kills for sport! For the excitement of the kill! He will not have her for a Trophy!”

Throwing the young Tauren to the ground she waits for him to rise, but he is dead. Amadare turns to the cowering Troll, and sniffs. The poor girl who frozen in terror, tries not to cry as she sees the once cocky Tauren, now lying in a puddle of his own blood, and the bear that mauled him is now turned toward her. Shifting to her upright form, Amadare wipes the Tauren blood from her mouth and bows. “I am sorry for his death.” The Troll starts to relax slightly now that she is faced with a small one hundred pound Night Elf, instead of a four hundred pound, snarling bear with teeth and claws. Taking out her dagger, Amadare stars to dig a grave for the young Tauren that she sent to the Nether. The Troll tries to help, but she is not very strong, from the look of the girl, she looks as though she wields magiks of some sorts.

Dragging the body of the Hunter to the grave, she lays him in, and covers him with his cloak, then takes out her Plains Strider feathers and starts to burn incense…

<In Taurahe>
“Powerful Earth Mother, I give this young one back to you, so that you may hold him to your bosom before he returns to the Twisting Nether. Elegant Elune, please see fit to help guide this wayward Soul, so that he may once again rejoin the world of the living. Perhaps in his next life compassion will be one of his learned virtues…”

Pouring the ash of the incense on the body, and placing the Feathers on his chest, Amadare proceeds to bury the Tauren. As she sets a head stone, she turns to the Troll and hands her a dagger, so that she may carve the bulls name in the stone. Gesturing to the unmarked stone, Amadare bows to the grave one last time. “I do not know of his name.”
