((Preferably a Female Troll, but anyone is welcome, and we can see where it takes us.))
The hot sun beat down upon her dark fur. Slowly she crept through the grass… Every step, she placed her paw to not make a sound. She was so close to the ground she could feel her belly fur lightly touch the earth as she shifted with each step. Amadare has not lost sight of her prey. Its head lightly bobbing as it walks, a red scaly hide looks thick, but her claws were freshly sharpened and she had been working on her bite… “This will be worthy prey.” She thinks as she takes notice of its large claws on its feet and sharp row of teeth. He Brother and Father were both great Hunters, but they could not hold a candle to feral instincts. Sniffing the air, she was down wind and could smell the reptilian oils on its hide, but more importantly was the absence of fear… This told her that it was not aware of its impending end… Ears forward she takes two more steps closer, and starts to tuck her back paws under her, readying for the pounce. One ear swings back, hearing a sound of a dying plains strider, in the distance. Paying it no mind, Amadare waits for it to sniff the ground.
“Now!!”
Leaping up and onto the beast, claws extended, she bites down for the neck, but the raptor dodge the attack and clamps down on her right shoulder with it’s powerful jaws. Shaking her hard, it throws her up and away, so that it can pounce itself. Landing on her paws, she realizes stealth is not the best form… With a roar, she shifts into her larger bear form, as the raptor jumps at her, feet extended claws bared. Charging forward, she blocks the feet with her left paw and clubs the reptile, with her right paw, tearing its face open. The pain from the wound making her anger race, she starts a barrage of frontal paws strikes. The raptor falls to the constant wounds inflicted by the large grey bear, its leg twitching slightly as it succumbs to the final death. Shifting back into her cat form she bites down on the neck of her fallen prey, and drags it to the shade of a near by tree, the lions of the plain start to walk over, But Amadare lets out a roar the that tells them this is her kill and she will fight to protect it!
