HORRIBLY cropped, I know.
Hair is changing... one of these days.

Any ideas for the arms? Even though they'll be colored they seem really lacking. I was going to go for a leather feel, but I'm not so sure.
I tried chain mail, but it looked like fish scales D:

yeah, tinker with it, idk if it'd work but it's better than chain mail and I personally think people with arm jewellery are schmexy..look at xena >.>

the belt buckle seems out of place, sort of like cunnlingus magic?

Right eye/hair line seems strange, and the face doesn't seem like the same art style as the rest of the body
Right hand seems to have tentacly fingers
Left arm seems to drop down at an uncomfortable angle, and goes missing behind the body and it seems the tabard is purposely covering it up.

Also, I was going to bring up Lurile's point about the fingers, but I think I realized it was the fingernails rather than the fingers. I can dig long, claw-like fingernails, for sure. But I think (especially the index finger, her left) the nails need to be less... erm... "raised". >>?

Problem might not be so big after you color. I'm going to assume the nails are GOTHIC BLACK so they'll be set apart from her GOTHIC PALE skin.

As for the belt buckle, it looks like it is angled wrong. Her hips are pointing to our right, yet the belt is looking forward at us.

Also, I approve of miscellaneous arm jewelery or armor, especially if they come adorned with lolDK skulls. But if you're looking for something else, I think your idea for leather would come out just as well.



Otherwise, the rest of the piece looks great. <3 Maybe you could show off more of her pretty, long hair, too.

I see what you mean about the index fingernail >.> fixing ASAP. The nails are actually going to be dark blue, I think it'd go better with the pale/blue skin color I'll be going with.

I found an awesome picture of metal bangles on googleimages, they might go well over leather. HRMMM.

Most of the time I do the lips without lines and just color/shading, so have no fear, she will have one XD.

My only complaint is as an undead something seems off... she seems not "cold" enough. Malicious. Is that vague enough? Yes I think it is.

Right eye (our right), looks abit big, or perhaps her sort of eye-liner is making it appear too big. Line art seems solid, I don't mind the cropping so much, but if you added maybe abit of space (like an inch, maybe two), to the left, then half an inch to the top, it might look nice, depending on the background you will put in.

I did use the pen tool, but not the same pen tool we all know and love(HATEHATEHATE) in photoshop.

The cropping was just a quick thing, because the boots I had were fucking awful and was too ashamed to show them. The background space is muuuuch bigger. But, when everything is final I will look back at the cropping and the ideas you had for it, maybe it'll look good.

Edit: & the eye I noticed too, trying to fix that a bit.

Its a nice good start if you're going for a piece to color after, everythings nice and simple and set up for the start of it.
