"...and then I finished off the Deathspeaker Selendre, but not before she pleaded for her pitiful life. " Frain cackled and continued to brush through the Queen's hair. She enjoyed bragging to Lady Sylvanas, and her hair was so lovely, Frain was envious of it. She replaced the cowl that the Banshee Queen always wore, smoothed out the folds of her robe and smiled. She was so lovely, Frain had become quite enamored of Her since leaving the Grim. She found it comforting to talk with the silent Queen of the Forsaken.

"You are mad you know, she doesn't even speak to you!" Varimathras bellowed, " Quiet you! She does, not in words, but she speaks to me! " Frain frowned, " You just keep standing there, in servitude Demon! " Frain laughed as the demon lord growled at her.

Frain looked around at the Horde milling about in the Lady's throne room. Some jumped around, and spoke in words that she could not understand. Though they seemed mad, they still fought for the Horde, volunteering to slay Alliance pigs in the Battlegrounds. The others had looked down on them, claiming they were worthless, but Frain had noticed that these soldiers of the Horde may be useful, if given the chance.

It seemed to Frain that the Horde were scattered, most not satisfied, and a majority of them didn't even speak to one another. How could they annihilate the Alliance, when they were all so divided, and judgmental to each other? Frowning, Frain picked up her measuring tape and began to take the Dark Lady's measurements for a new dress she was making especially for her.

Spending most of her time exclusively fighting the Scourge, in the Fungal Vale, and all across the Plaguelands. Frain had to admit that the power that the Lich King wielded was appealing. Every day she returned to find even more Scourge then before. His subjects ranged from blithering ghouls, to eloquently spoken humans. All had one thing in common though, fierce loyalty to the Lich King. How could the Horde fight that, when they were not loyal to each other or anyone?

"Indeed, you are right Forsaken.” Frain whirled about, trying to find where the lovely voice had come from. " Who is there?" Those in the Throne Room saw a Forsaken female clearly talking to herself.

"It is I, your Queen. Frain I am pleased with you, though I wonder if you are ready to step up, and to take on a very serious task for me?" Frain looked at the stoic face of Sylvanas, her lips did not move, the voice instead seemingly speaking to her alone. How could this be? "You are loyal and wise, and I have a job for you, I bestow upon you the title of Lady Frain. You are to bring the scattered Horde together under your banner, to fight the Alliance, to bring chaos and fear to the world that they think is rightfully theirs. Do this for me, and I promise to give you the power you crave......for a Lich you could become someday as well."

What, could this be true, Frain sat on the steps and held her head in her hands. A vision came to her then, it was herself, but she was indeed a Lich Queen, fierce and terrifying. Frain felt the power, it was intoxicating! She bagan to cackle, those in the Throne Room shivered at the sound. Frain felt a new confidence and purpose flow through her, yes , perhaps this was her calling. She stood up, bowed to the Lady and summoned her warhorse. She must tell Necrosis what she has been told, he would believe in her.

Smiling Necrosis stepped out from where he was hidden in the royal chambers. “Excellent, so it begins.”
