Theme Songs: The Howling by Within Temptation
History: After being taken over by the spirit of a warlock named Taziyah and having his will suppressed to only a small fraction within his mind, Ziyus turned on those that loved him the most. He had no will of his own, therefore, he had no way of alerting his loved ones that his body was being used to spread hate. His brother Siyus, realized that something unusual was going on with his brother. The Ziyus he knew was caring and would never commit such evil deeds. After Siyus called out Ziyus, Taziyah came forth and told the truth of his existence. He had been using Ziyus's body to get something that he believed was rightfully his. He pointed out that Ziyus was promised soemthing that he wanted and in order to get it, he killed their mother and possessed Ziyus. After a brutal fight on the top of the Thandol Span, the bridge connecting the Wetlands to the Arathi Highlands, Taziyah left Siyus for dead and never saw him again. There was something Taziyah didn't count on. As his power grew, Ziyus's power grew greater. While in Stranglethorn Vale, Taziyah sensed something was happening to them. Ziyus started to speak to him from inside his mind. He told Taziyah that he was strong enough all along to rid him out of his body, but he chose to lie in dormant because he seeked answers only Taziyah knew. After he learned the truth about his mother, and that she may not be dead, he somehow focused his energy from within and took control of his body. With Taziyah's spirit in the palm of his hand, he transfered it to his staff, The Bringer of Death. After returning to Quel'Thalas, he went to the top of Duskwither Spire and sealed Taziyah away in the crystal at the top level of the spire.
Two years after taking his body back, Ziyus began to feel empty. He roamed Azeroth and what was left of Draenor, as an empty shell seeking a purpose. He began to have terrible nightmares about his mother dying at the hands of Taziyah and on one night, he awakened in front of the crystal in which he sealed Taziyah away. Not remembering how he got there, he knew what he had to do. Using the Bringer of Death, he absorbed Taziyah's spirit into his own body. Ziyus knew that he could control Taziyah now and that he would not be a threat to him anymore. Ziyus' power grew tremendously. With his new found glory, Taziyus was born.
Two years after that incident, he learned something that shocked him beyond belief. He learned that his father was not who he thought it was. He learned that his father was the very person that caused his problems, the very person that almost killed his brother, the very person that he sealed away, and the very person that he absorbed. His true father was none other than Taziyah Bahiyy al-Din. Deep within his mind, Taziyah told Ziyus that he was only preparing him for what was to come. He stated that he wanted to test how well Ziyus can handle true power. With nothing to say, Ziyus only listened to his father. Taziyah spoke of a being that would give them power beyond belief, a being that will show them their destiny: The Lich King. Puzzled, Ziyus asked his father about this Lich King. Taziyah then directed his son to the inn of Southshore. He told him that on the second floor, he would find a book that will somewhat shed light on who the Lich King was. After quickly dispatching of the guards, Ziyus found this book and proceeded to read about the War of the Plaguelands. Convinced, he had a new destiny of finding the Lich King.
One year after that, Ziyus started sensing a strange energy. It seemed to familiar and it was coming from the Barrens. He followed this strange energy until it led him to an old pirate boat. On board that boat was none other than the warlock Lokken, a friend of his brother. But Lokken was not the one he was sensing. Standing beside Lokken was his brother, Siyus. Shocked that this his brother Siyus was alive, he quickly began to asked questions. He told Siyus the truth of their past and that their father was not the man they thought. Angered and unwilling to believe, Siyus began to snap. To more bad news, Siyus learned that the girl he once loved, now loves his best friend Lokken. Angered, Siyus left with his brother and his brother's apprentice, the young Mage Dazori. (I stopped updating around that time).
Now, years later, Ziyus has found himself in what appears to be an alternate universe. The only thing he can remember is roaming the titan city of Uldaur. He has no idea how he got to this world or how to get back to his world, everything is unclear. Roaming the city of Silvermoon, he came across an undead by the name of Vakshna and a Blood Elf Rogue by the name of Melynisa. The two approached Ziyus with accusations of spying on them to what Ziyus denied. After a very long conversation, Ziyus was offered refuge by Vakshna to what Ziyus denied. Realizing that he may not ever go back to his world or see his brother Siyus again, he is determined to find a purpose on this world.
Taziyah and the Bahiyy al-Din
The Bahiyy al Din is a fallen society of Highborne and High Elves. They lived in secrecy and practiced such arts as Arcane, Demonology, Shadow, and Shamanism. Such arts were forbidden in Highborne society, so they were forced to relocate to continue practicing their magic and not suffer the consequences. The name means Magnificence of the Faith. Baha al Din is an alternate spelling of Bahiyy al Din. It was given to the younger Elves. Taziyah's surname is Bahiyy al Din. He was the last leader of the Bahiyy al-Din, but most of the society died off. Taziyah has tasked Ziyus with recreating the lost empire of the Bahiyy al-Din. He seeks the Lich King in hopes of serving him in return that the Lich King resurrects his people either alive...or dead.
It is still unknown what happened to the Bahiyy al-Din. Some speculate that they were killed by Night Elves that found out about the magic they were practicing. Others speculate that they aren't even dead but just living in hiding.
