That is actually how I came upon TN back in the day. I posted on a level one alt asking for information. Been here for three years. Sea of level 1 alts or not, some people actually are legit.

Judging by the nice layout of the question it seems he is legit.

I'm guessing people from his old server might hate him hence why he has to use an alt instead of his main, or he just decided on it idk.

But that is just idle speculation

It seems we're going to need an official sticky soon to address said questions. People are popping up frequently and asking about the server environment. Emerald Dream has apparently gotten very unwelcoming recently.

I try to take the time to respond to the ones who appear in general and trade chat. If someone shows up asking if we have a nice server, I'd like to be able to say yes rather than ignoring them or giving them grief. How nice would it be to arrive and say hello and immediately have six complete strangers be kind and welcoming?

So yes, all unhappy roleplayers and pvp'ers come settle in on TN. We'll adopt you and have a resurgence of community activity. And I'm happy if they ask on Alliance side first. ^^ But I'm biased.

We have a sticky. Villy keeps it updated. People are lazy.

Orins not pessimistic, per say - he was a gm of a raiding guild. He's learned that not all level one alts are safe to answer, and even less are actually legit. If anything people who frequently post on this site are naive.

That being said, once and a while its worth responding because not all level one alts are someone's jerky attempt to stay anonymous.
