Game Cam?

Could anyone suggest a good (Preferrably free) game cam?

I've looked at Fraps, but they want like $40 for it, which at the moment I can't afford very easily. (Yay, medical bills)

I cant for the sake of me remember what my dad uses but the pics come out really nice.

But I know for a fact it isnt free

I personally wouldnt spend $40 on it because we have alot of outlaws on our lease and they like to steal our feeders and game cams

Fraps is free if you're okay with their watermark. I'm not sure, but it may also have some size restrictions in its free version.

What did you intend to use the game cam for? I bought the $36 version of fraps just for machinima and I love it. But if you're just looking to livestream, try xfire.com .

I'm going to be shooting some wow vids.

The Free version of Fraps does have a size limit on it, only a couple minutes of film at max (I think I captured 5 or so.) before it stops. I want something I can record at least 30 minutes - an hour of stuff.

Also, the best WoW videos are made with model viewer + map viewer + expensive video editor.

Are you looking to make gameplay videos or machinima (I just know I fucked that word)?

If you're trying to make machinima then Swerto's right on the model viewer map viewer dealio, but you probably want to pirate fraps if you're making a gameplay video.

I could tell you how to get vid quality and editing that makes almost all wow fan vids look like a joke. But if you do it legally like me you are looking at 300 dollars. Tough sell.

I vote fraps. And for machinima, Swerto is dead on on the additional items.
