I was thinking about this, and it occurred to me that it could be abused. What if one were to dismount in mid-air and parachute/slowfall/whatever while the other is left to plummet to the ground?

Hmm, it'd be good if the passenger (and only the passenger) was automatically supplied with a parachute if something like that happened.

Hell, I've done that both with the mammoth and the chopper, in Dalaran. Just jumped out the sewer pipe!

Course the victim always had some way to survive anyway, so I never really succeeded.

Irontoe used to do it to me around Thunderbluff by jumping gaps and canceling.. then using his own parachute to safety.

And yes, I died.. he laughed.. I saw it all coming and laughed along :D it was particularly funny.

2) Blizzard is discontinuing the TCG.

This has happened to me soooo many times. And every one of those times, I panic and wish I had something to save me equipped. And then I try to vanish-immune the fall damage. Hasn't worked yet.

TCG isn't being discontinued, they're just no longer going with Upper Deck.

And hopefully they give the passenger a parachute or we'll see a bunch of hilarious QQing about falling deaths.

Its all about trusting the driver... and carrying a parachute cloak with you cause engineering is totally the only PvP prof thats respectable ;P

Just make sure your driver, unlike SOME *cough*Wobble*coughcough* don't drive off cliffs and such, and have safe fall / parachute to save them, while you end up roadpizza.

With Jilli, it's riding in the passenger seat and then she asks something like, "So what did you think of that warlock back in town?" and then blasts out of the sewers dropoff and withholds HoPing me until I've given a satisfactory answer.

"Honest! I was just eyeing her to let her know I was HUNTING her!"

Actually, blizzard did not renew upper deck's TCG contract, so if it's planned TCG loot, it might either get canned, or it's slated for whomever takes it over or if blizz takes it in-house.

It's not a TCG loot card, as far as I know. They put up the ones they were going to have for the next two sets that were to be released this year on the PTR, the rare ones being the Blazing Hippogryph and the Wooly White Rhino.

They should add passenger flying mounts, but make it another tier of trained shit, and when you train for it, whenever you or your passenger dismount in the air, you automatically get a parachute.

Hell, I think people should automatically get parachutes when dismounting now anyways. What kind of moron would hop in a saddle to go flying at breakneck speeds without one?

In defense of people that might have leaped to their death with passengers on a mammoth...those used to be immune to fall damage. Then they fixed it without telling anyone. I enjoyed jumping out of the Dalaran sewer pipe and having my mammoth stick the landing.

According to MMO-Champion's coverage of the Devchat here (http://www.mmo-champion.com/news-2/blizzchat-developer-chat-on-twitter-226/), we're going to be seeing more underwater mounts.

Also, similar to the airships in Icecrown, Goblin and Gnome submarines in the new underwater zone!
