You're thinking of the Cat in the Hat. I just show up and steal people's cookies. Ever wonder where those go on Christmas morning? Yea, that's right. Santa's not real. -I- eat them! O:

I actually assumed they had fixed this a long time ago. Oo; If you take note of the screenshots, Shoshoni and I are still wearing the <Novus> tags, which has loooong since dissolved. Apparantly, we cows with Dreadmist Masks are an elite few, or that would have been fixed quite quickly. ;)

Noooooooooo!

I saw that in MC last week I think it was, I couldn't stop laughing. Why Blizzard! Why!

I actually assumed they had fixed this a long time ago.

My point was basically that they keep screwing with all the goofy stuff we can do. I can understand ones that actually effect the game (/mourn Sentry Totem and Defensive Stance falling :( ).

But turning into the opposite sex with the Noggen > Deviate combo, nerfing the color changing of the Sons of Hakkar, and now my goofy pointy-beard doesn't stick through helmets.

Just when I was getting used to having little black sqares on the outside of my helmet!

I miss having the male tauren voice in my bear form. :( I could have my female tauren model, AND the male /moo voice in one perfect package! /angry Blizzard!

I liked being a female pirate... messing with Jobolg's head was fun.

Although that's long gone and unavailable to us males, I'm sure Jobolg will still never flirt with a female deviate delight pirate ever again.

Why'd you have to go and remind me Fhenrir, I miss being able to float mid-air.

I miss it on my shaman too. I would always fly after the Garr fight for a good 10 minutes or so, now only frost mages can do it. :?

I'd never thought of doing that, but now that you mention it, it would have been fun. Blizz has constantly ruined fun things right as I discovered them. Like my old Orcish->Common macro working in /Say (Now only works in non-public channels.)

Lest we forget - the troll dwarf song.
Also, I miss doing emotes while feigning death...

Speaking of which, now that I just learned the proper way to make a surefire FD/trap macro, I'm sure they'll be along to fix that here real soon.

Edit: Oh yeah, and Lupos's shadow damage... if they hadn't nerfed that, I would probably still have him...

FD/Trap may be really annoying, but for a while there, not only could Hunters somehow drop freezing traps in battle, but by cancelling Bloodrage, I could charge mid-battle.

That was awesome.

Y'know what the best part about 1.12.1 is?

Getting sent back to your hearthstone location when you get randomly disconnected!

Makes for fun instances. :)

That happened to me in ZG last night.

I got sent to the Spirit Healer in Kargath.

Took all the steam out of me for the night. Decided to log and troubleshoot my computer instead.

I'm very excited about the cheaper mounts. I'm not far from getting an Undead steed to complement my Dreadsteed (which, although much cooler, is well served with variety) and I'm not far from a Frostwolf Howler, which I believe costs EIGHT GOLD now.

I am DAMNED excited to be riding around on a wolf.

How do we do that?

Which are cheaper? 40, 60, or both mounts? I'm gonna go check site to find this info...cause that's good news.

Non-epic mounts: 9g
Epic mounts: 90g

75 skill riding (for non-epic mounts): 80g or so
150 skill riding (for epic mounts): ~800g or so

Which are cheaper? 40, 60, or both mounts? I'm gonna go check site to find this info...cause that's good news.ALL mounts are cheaper. However, the riding skill costs MUCH more. Here's what happened:

1) All racial riding skills have been removed. They have been replaced with a blanket riding skill that is trainable from a riding instructor. I believe the 40 skill cost is 72 gold. I know the 60 skill cost is 720 gold. Note that cross-racial mounts still require exalted reputation to purchase.

2) All regular 40 mounts now cost 8 gold. All regular 60 mounts now cost 80 gold. PvP mounts now cost 8 gold.

It should be noted that this means the cost for anybody's first mount HAS NOT CHANGED. However, for people who already own mounts, this makes it WAY cheaper to buy successive rides.

3) Everybody owning a mount prior to the patch has been given the appropriate skill level, for free.

Something to note: Those that bought a 40 mount prior to level 40 or the same deal with 60 were NOT reimbursed. They're going to have to pay 1520 gold for their mount.

A question: What about rare drop mounts? The Baron's, or the Tiger, for instance. Not really a free mount, as they have been, if the winner lacks the riding skill. Still cost 720 gold. Is Blizzard compensating for this by making them exempt from a skill requirement? But then, it wouldn't be cheap to buy successive mounts, which is the point of this change. Does that mean that the winner is automatically given the adequate skill level? If I know Blizzard? Probably have to pay the gold regardless. But, that's purely speculative on my part.

75 skill riding (for non-epic mounts): 80g or so
150 skill riding (for epic mounts): ~800g or soAh, Marroc makes me realize a good point. I was going to correct his prices, but I realized that we're both right.

The prices are reputation based, of course. I'm revered, and I see it as 8, 80, 72, 720. If you're neutral, friendly, or honored, it's going to be more expensive than that. If you're Exalted, it's going to be cheaper.

Not sure what the baseline price is. I'd just go check the mount dealers and see for yourself what your price is.
