Darkness. I'm laying on my back, unable to move my arms or legs. What has happened to me? Have I died? No, my vision is starting to return. I hear the sounds of battle all around me. The sky is blood red. What has happened to me?
I feel cold. My body feels tense. I feel anxious, yet I do not feel my heart raging within my rib cage. I hear two men yelling in the tongue of Man to my right. I fail to turn my head towards the argument. My chest feels heavy, yet I do not feel strained to breathe. Am I breathing? I have to be, I am not dead. What has happened to me?
I feel the urge to cry, but cannot form tears. I feel emotional and apathetic at the same time. The argument has intensified; there is another who has joined in.
