I forgot to say, there's also been a lot of changes to the talents and spells for the other classes, so I'd check all of them out.

Sevarith will look like this:

I feel bad for saying it, but Endless Rage pales in comparison to Death Wish, and Duel-wield Specialization really does not go with MS. Blood Craze isn't worth it, either, better with Improved BS.

I've finally decided on what I'm going for.

I got the duel wield spec because I like using both with sevarith, duel wielding beats a tw-hander for PvE.

Endless rage... basically an oppertunity to spam every single ability I have. I think yes.

To use every ability? Like, what two MS, a WW, and nothing else on a three minute cooldown? Cooldowns make it crap.

And duel-wielding only does more damage (in PvE or PvP) with DW and Flurry. Seeing as you have neither of those, it makes it rather useless. MS relies on having a big, heavy two-hander to get large crits. It's better points spent elsewhere, especially in ENRAGE, which is one of the most essential DPS warrior talents.

My duel wielding does more damage than my two-hander in PvP. Thats why.

Now, if i actually had some epic weapon at 60, sure, ide go the basic two-handed build, but the basic line is i wont... not for a while. I hate using anything but swords.

Argh! I am even more confused whether to be resto or balance. The tree form seems a little bit gimped to me - 50% reduction on movement speed - a bit rough for pvp - and you can only cast HoTs? Why nerf us twice? Gah. I don't know - does it seem worth it to you?

Think it's more of a PvE talent. Also, HoTs are stacking in BC, so this may be a lot more powerful then it seems. But, only time will tell. Remember, all these are subject to change before the game comes out, I mean, it's still only in the alpha.

They might be stackable, but I'm just not sure if loosing Healing touch would be worth a 41 point talent. I might want put a Tree into on OT's group so the healers could spend more time on the MT for some fights, but I'm still not sure.

Like I said I'm going to be an Oomkin with Treants with me.... until my guild makes me respec into a Tree and then I could be a Tree pet for someone, could be fun.

Yeah, I'd only go that deep into Resto if you're planning on raiding. If not, use those points elsewhere...unless you really just wanna walk around as a tree (which would be COOL).

I respecced Alucian to Balance after I moved him off the server...it just seems so very unfinished. I'm probably just not used to it. But man...those 41 Feral things...they're calling me back...

((FYI, before anyone panics, Alucian's rerolled as a warrior here, so no, I did not leave TN. :p ))

Tree form right now is pretty gimp for the twitch encounters where you need to keep moving, ala Naxx.

Time will tell, but unless they decide to give us a bunch of really boring, stand still point-and-click raiding fights (which would SUCK! MC is bad enough!) Tree form is going to be a hinderance, especially on your ability to get yer ass in gear and move!

Being able to feral charge from flight form is the only thing making me consider leveling Kaliera up to 60 after the expansion hits. "Look, up in the sky! It's a bird! ....Wait, now it's a cow? What the hell, now it's a bear!? AGH!" *mauling sounds*

You don't want to level to 70...

Fhenrir can be the high level of the two for once. Muahaha!

Holy bejesus they're gonna be able to turn into trees now!? hahahahaha
I'm guessing Shadowspeak is pretty close with the Treant thing? It's too bad they don't get a similar "tree ability" to hide in the wild...turn into a bush and sit by a river and wait for their prey. That would be neat....ooor have it work in the same way as Ice Block. ha! beat the bush!

Looking at the current fights we have up and running in this game...not too many require you to get up and bust your chops. And even then, only throwing improved HoT's to heal the raid you need LoS for...nothing more. My I think that treeform honestly is great from an endgame perspective...not so cool for pvp though. Taking a sneak peak look at the new 25 mans, theres not too much room to move around to begin with in Hellfire Citadel, or even that tower. They're HUGE just through mapping, but hallways, passages, all cut down on that. Having two deticated patch healers (a tree and a paladin) is going to be amazing, since you wont be able to have 5-6 patching paladins running around in a 40 man anymore. Raid balance will become a bit more specialized in that respect.

And even in 40 mans, only a few fights need healers to CONSTANTLY be moving to patch a raid. Three bosses from AQ40, maybe four from Naxx. Aside from that, the most major movement you'll be doing is perhaps watching your tree-man/woman shuffle about while rejuvinating crap.

I'm hoping for a pseudo Ancient Protector or something of the like. A regular, boring-ass treant ftl.

The real question is though...where are they gonna put the long ears and horns? 8O

tree form just got a slight buff, the aura now effects the entire raid so long as they are withen 40 yards... of course they still need to do some more before someone will actually spec it...

Caelyn

As much as I hate to say it, my guild has already voted me to be the test dummy for this tree, mostly for the 25-man instances when we all hit 70... So it should be interesting. I'm hoping for a cool look to the Tree, and have already taken the precaution of starting the "if you laugh at me once, I'll tell x secret to everyone" blackmail. I'm hoping it works

Don't worry, shamans will get major raiding buffs as soon as the Alliance gets a few to 70.

<Gasp> Now why would you think that? I can't think of anything wrong with the totem mechanics. Nope, not a thing.
