Yes, I draw out the picture in pencil, then use an inking pen to ink. Only thing I use the computer for is to white out the background so there are no smudges. xD

And I charge 1000g considering each picture takes me about 6 to 7 hours...and don't really have the time to do a bunch of commissions that would come with a lower price. =P

I got 1000g for my last commission. I think it all depends on how much time and effort goes into the work... -shrugs-

Anyway, absolutely adorable style. And you're great with the Copic markers as well. I used to have a huge set, but I could never figure them out... /sadface

Yeah, several dollars per marker seems steep! Taminda actually suggested I try to get a job at the place where she mostly buys her art supplies... I'm sure the employee discount is somewhere in her motivations. >> << They're not quite that expensive there, unless you're buying something besides the standard size.

Your art reminds me of an old highschool friend of mine who long since moved far away to another state and grew up @_@. She used to draw me pictures and I'd write her stories to go with them. We had two dozen notebooks full of pictures and stories (Thank you chemestry class!) by the time we'd graduated.

Needless to say - its beautiful. You're very skilled :D

And it's funny you bring up resembling Anime styles, Eymi. Masque, in terms of her expression, demeanor, even the whole "brigade" thing, bears a stark resemblance to a certain melancholic character, Haruhi Suzumiya.

Not that I'm an expert on these things...

I tried working with colored pencils this time...I didn't like it. They smeared all over and were hard to shade with. But I am happy with the end product.

A very sleepless night, and an urge to draw, led me to this.

I have a character in the Stormwolf guild, a banshee named Wraithe. The picture took me about 5-6 hours total.

First, the pencil sketch. This is 2-3 layers. Very messy.

And finally the coloring. This takes the longest. About 3 layers here. At 6 in the morning exhaustion started to settle in, so it was somewhat rushed.

My two blood elf characters, Masquerade and Wraithe. The inspiration came from the Anime, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and it's characters Haruhi and Mikuru.

This is pretty much how my characters relationship with each other would be if they were to meet...Masquerade treating Wraithe like her own personal toy/dress-up doll.

My Alliance Shaman, a Broken Draenei female named Raeyn.

Character Description:
Raeyn is a Broken Draenei, affected by the Fel energies that infected her people in Outland. Her stature is much shorter than most females of her race, being only 6'4" in height and 175 lbs. Her facial features differ slightly from typical Draenei, although the most noteable feature is the lack of a full nose. The mark on her forehead and elf-like ears differentiate her even further. Raeyn has two short horns, the right cracked, its tip replaced with some of the same material used to craft totems. As a Broken, Raeyn has lost her tail and instead gained additional tentacles on her back and head. She has spikes at the elbow, and the back of her ankles as well. Her thick, white curls of hair and long tentacles are held back with a simple headband. The shaman also lacks hooves, walking around on feet with three large toes. She chooses to conceal her appearance under a hooded cloak.

The colored version of this got a 'holy crap' out of me. Seeing her all pink and alive, vs the starkness of just the line art makes her less terrifying.

I particularly like how you mixed the purple into the dress and how the stretch of the fabric has a very similar feel to the texture of her hair.

I can definitely see the clamp influence. I used to watch card captors as a kid. do you have work that's non wow-related? If so, I'd love to see it!

Also, your awareness of cloth is quite lovely. Have you considered using a darker marked for the areas in shadow? I think it would really make your work pop.

New pic! This one I drew for my boyfriend, since he was complaining I don't draw for him often enough. :P

My character Masquerade, and her brother Aegis, who she did not know was her brother at the time. (Memory loss and all.) He chose not to tell her, and instead watched over and protected her from the sidelines. In this one, she's complaining about something - again - and I imagine her rant beginning with "THOSE IDIOTS...!"

I really like the expression on Aegis' face. :3

VERY CAREFULLY. I was bored one evening and my guild hosts a contest each month to draw or write something that relates to one of ten assigned words...this word was 'wheel'.

The doodle itself took over two hours, mainly because I did it with a mouse. I made the image HUGE, like 4000 x 3500 px. and zoomed in to maybe 300% just to draw one eye...did that for most of the picture. Thankfully it made smooth enough lines but getting the perspective of the image as a whole was difficult. >.>

Even so I enjoyed it - it's frustrating to have to connect my scanner for every little thing, and CTRL+Z doesn't exist IRL. :P
