We just had turkey this year, though =\.

Turkey, ham just doesn't have that same tone of fear. It's a proven sceincetificul fact, when you kill it's turkey family in front of it-it makes the meat more tender.

Turkey by far.

I must be the only person on the forum who got both. Some of us don't have to choose see? Personally I do prefer a well prepared ham though. That one looks awfully ... juicy?

I drank two BFC's from monster and it didn't stop shit, I was pissed. I don't like turkey induced naps when I'm trying to hold myself up as the champion of tekken in the family.
God Turkey naps are OP.
I'm more of a ham feller myself. Not a fan of chicken / turkey usually.

I think that was his point.
Unless that was YOUR point, and I'm missing your joke, but I don't think I am. I'm just willing to consider the possibility.

Why do you think we're friends? It's not because he's good at WoW, it's because he knows his way around a tube steak.
Beef. It's what's for dinner.
But if I HAVE to choose.
Turkey. AND HAM! Ha! We always have both.

Turkey. And turkey-naps is OP. But so refreshing. I fell asleep sitting up in a chair. With about 5 young'uns around me screamin' and hollerin'...banging on toys and all sorts of other annoying shit. Damn good nap too =P

Pfffft, you're just limiting yourself if you think that's the case.

I just recently saw a picture of a duck stuffed in a chicken, stuffed in a hollowed out ham, stuffed in a turkey, wrapped totally in bacon. After repressing the urge to vomit I had to admit it was a very large undertaking and took quite the effort to create.

Thanksgiving turkey-induced naps are the best, though.
Especially when its a whole family affair.
Our turkey put me, heid, all three kids, and my aunt to sleep on the couch for about an hour yesterday.
Pure
win.
We didn't have ham this year, because we didn't have to feed my aunts pesudo-girlfriend's 500lb fiance (they went to his daughters house) this year. We only made enough food for the 8 of us who live in house, and we just have enough left over for an epic thanksgiving-in-a-sandwich lunch this afternoon.
Turkey wins, hands down.

12 in 1 Bird (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-502605/It-serves-125-takes-hours-cook-stuffed-12-different-birds---really-IS-Christmas-dinner.html")
According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turducken), there was a 17 in 1 Bird made, but it's illegal to produce the dish now, as a few of the used fowl are now endangered.
Also, I had Turkey, I prefer both, normally do both, but I normally cook for 10-20 people, and this year was a quiet 3.

Turkey does not put me to sleep, unfortunately. :(
However, I think both Turkey and Ham are dependent on how you cook them.
Ham is definately mouthwateringly delicious when you cook it right..
But my Dad prepares turkey by herb-injecting it and deep frying it.
Not really the most classy thing to have your Dad standing in the front yard deep frying a turkey with a tarp over him to keep the wonderful Washington rain away.. But it was a damn delicious turkey.

Our relatives in the more B.F.E region try to turkey fry, however it normally involves something going wrong, fire and the EMTS over for thanksgiving.
Ahhh my redneck side, only thing funner then lighting stuff on fire with grease is shoving your fist into an unknown water hole, wiggling it around and hoping it's a fish instead of a snapping turtle

Deep-fry is the best way to cook a turkey. Locks in the juice; moist and flavorful.
But yeah, if you don't know what you're doing you can end up having the local firemen and EMTs join you for dinner.

Or, you could always make the splosion for fun.
