Oh, and telling my fiance I had twenty gold in responce to "how much cash do you have?"...not a dream, but still funny.

About a month ago I got sick with a bad throat infection, and for four days I didn't sleep more than about a half-hour at a time because of the pain.

Problem was, between that and the fever, I ceased to distinguish between reality and dreams. So for about 6-10 hours a night, I could not, in my head, log off of WoW. My computer was off, and I was still playing. In the RP channel and everything.

It got to the point where, had I been able, I would have started yelling at people. "It's four in the morning! Let me GO already!"

i may have had dreams here and there, but just generic ones about me actually playing the game, not being in it. the real signs of too much wow for me come in real life, when i:

-try to target people to see their name and level
-think that i'm alone because i don't see anyone on my tracking
-expect to find the stats when i look on price tags for clothes and weapons
-attempt to open my inventory and use one of many items i use frequently in game (hearthstone, mount, etc.) and to see how much money i have
-keep wanting to hit the spacebar while going up stairs
-assume that someone is a certain class by what they wear
-see a little person and think it would be hilarious to punt or tickle them
-see a cop or someone i don't like and try to slow down and/or give them a wide berth to avoid aggro
-have a strong desire to whisper someone telepathically, or say something like LOL in a speech bubble above my head for people to see without actually saying it

and yeah, that's aboutall i can think of right now...

I've definitley had WoW dreams before. Can't think of anything off the top of my head. BUT...Ker and I often have in-depth conversations about our characters, thier feelings, and relations towards other people when we ride the T together xP

I've had some rather bizzarre ones as well... I can't recall most of them now, but the lastest one, Barke had mentioned in /g that night that he had over 100 heavy runecloth bandages. So, that night when I went to bed, I dreamed that I woke up, came out into the livingroom and my computer was buried under runecloth bandages... and they all looked like the little icon too.

The only thing I can honestly remember from a dream that was WoW related was once I dreamt I was late for work and rushed out the door to get into my car.

i have had many wow dreams. in one of them, bad things (unspecified shape, but people-sized) were chasing me and some "friends" ("friends" meaning they are people my mind made up for this particular dream, having no resemblence to real life), and i realized because it was a magical realm i could use chavie's shadow priestly powers. one of the "friends" turned out to be the player of syreena, and i called out to her, "you're not [nameoffakepersonindream]! you're syreena!" and popped a PW:S on her and then went into shadowform and mindflayed the evil thingies. the beauty of the dream was how it felt to cast those spells. very fun in retrospect!

wow leaks over to real life when i see an interesting plant and want to mouse over it and right-click.

A photographer submitted some digital photos at work last week, but they didn't have enough resolution to print properly. They needed more dots per inch (DPI).

I have caught myself, while driving in an unfamiliar area, trying to verify my position by looking up and to the right... at the mini-map. Doh!

I was also reading a favorite comic recently where one of the characters was surprised, and therefore had a giant yellow exclamation point over her head. And my immediate thought was.. hey, what quest does she have?

The first weekend I ever did a battleground I ended up doing about twenty in a row.. yeah.. I was killing horde in my sleep all that night and the next. That's about all I remember though, except that I was jealous that horde got Merlocs as a new race and alliance got something really stupid, though I don't remeber what it was, they were smallere than gnomes though and I was pissed. Heh. Maybe it was smurfs.
