Prior to the release of Wrath, Invictus Sanctum participated in a Story Arc with content relevant to the Lich King and Northrend.

Given the success of this storyline, I would like to undertake something more ambitious, involving a greater period of time, a larger participation and members of the Horde. As was the case with the last one, this storyline will be designed on Cataclysm content. I plan for it to take place in January 2010, giving us just under two months to prepare. While I would like a general outline, please be aware this is not a 'scripted' event.
After hosting a meeting on the 17th of October, these were the specifics decided on:

EVENT ONE
The Prophecy Stone
A small, fist-sized 'meteorite' crashes into the ground outside the guild hall of Invictus Sanctum. Upon inspection, the stone causes the holder to experience brief, confusing images of an Azeroth in flames, lorded over by an ancient evil. Whoever touches the stone is severely affected (short coma, energy drainage, intense migraines etc.). Believing this to be a prophecy of things to come, the guild decides to investigate further...
EVENT TWO
The Worgen Prisoner
Months/ years previously, a member of SI:7 infiltrated Gilneas. They were, however, found and captured, imprisoned for life in a quarantined dungeon (the Gilneans being pedantic about the security of their nation), and never heard from since. All records of this person were destroyed in Stormwind after their disappearance, for fear of the government being accused of snooping around behind the Greymane Wall.
Recently, and due to extraordinary means, the prisoner managed to effect an escape from Gilneas. He arrives home to Stormwind, and reports to SI:7 of what had occurred. They, having washed their hands of him, claim to have no recollection of the individual or his assignment, and have him removed from Stormwind City for fear of him 'causing a public disturbance' given his agitated disposition.
The prisoner, having been exiled from his home, wanders around Elwynn Forest, and comes across the 'Unconquerable Sanctuary'. Having heard tales of the guild's nature as a refuge, he decides to ask for their assistance, and relates his tale to them.
Unfortunately, something has followed him home, something that becomes remarkably evident a few nights later...

That's what has been decided thus far, but it's simply a start. There is plenty of room for addition, so I ask that if any members of the Horde and Alliance are willing to participate in the planning AND carrying-out of this pre-Cataclysm Story Arc, please register your interest below, and attend a meeting at:
