Would Dusk Watch be open for recruiting a member who has characters Horde side? I speak for both myself and the leader of my guild who found the Dusk Watch a promising place to play our Alliance mains from.
What I've told everyone who's asked is this: as long as you don't play both sides against each other, I see no problem with it. I'd like my guild meetings and such to actually happen, and I don't use horde-side characters to 'spy' on our enemies...as long as you respect that, then yes. Welcome. ^^
Horde are people too, you know. ;)

Yeah, I talked with Necroxis about this a few days ago and he said basically the same thing. Looking forward to applying once my Alliance has a few more levels under his belt.

Hell, the entire Alliance side RP-PVP community has. But Omy is trusting...

Its true that we're a bit wary. Hell, any guild should be, because while most people who play opposite factions are cool and have no issue, there are those few that are absolute douches who use their alts for nothing but spying.
Anyway...Omy's got a good nose for those kind of people...so we're fine.

I don't really believe in spying..its sort of low to do that. I started as allaince on Emerald Dream with a human mage and then a Draenai Pally, my favorate race is still Draenai. Probably will be, they are the most facinating.
If I ever came over to allaince again, not saying I would apply, but if I did, this is one person who would never spy on you for the horde.

If you have somebody join the guild that is known to be a Hordie and something happens with the guild - like an ambush or information getting out - what's the worst that is going to happen? You get wiped in PvP once, sensitive information gets out, whatever - the possible negatives are outweighed by the possible positives of getting a new, productive guild member.

Yeah definitely. I mean for us, its really not a big deal whatsoever. Basically the only thing we do different is check with a few of the normal guildies as well as the officers to see if anything was heard negative-wise. Haven't had a problem yet - so I'm not...sure what Rethius is referencing but...Yeah.
No arguments from me.

We have had a problem before with people spying, and im not going to say any names, but we figured out ways to weave the spys out. And we do accept any horde app if we know you well and we know you arent a douche.

And I'm flattered that you seem to think well of my 'judge of character' skill, but really the way I see it is with the barrier between Alliance and Horde only characters on a PVP server now gone...well either I say yes and at least know whom our horde characters are, or I say no and they still join but I have no idea. ^^;;
And yes, Dags not only can hide in shadows, but is already below normal levels of eyesight! Hard to spot him before it's too late, heh.
