What's the lore on Kargath? I know he was a warrior in WC2 with Grom Hellscream. Grom showed up in WC3 again but Kargath was nowhere. I assume Kargath in Badlands is named after him, but other than that I haven't heard anything.

wow wiki article (http://www.wowwiki.com/Kargath_Bladefist)

After the war he get turned into a fel orc, and because he was the most badass one of them he got turned into the warchief of the fel horde.

We kill him, end of story.

We killed him too in Zul'Aman. Like little bastards we are, we loot the whole place, keep what we can use and sell the rest right after.

Pretty sure Thor was joking.

Illidan died. We killed him.

Kael'thas died too. Twice.

Lady Vashj also died.

Maiev did not die, despite our wish to end her emo existence.

Kargath is odd because he has two specific storylines.

He crossed over into Azeroth in one, and was in the camps because he was not Warsong, but he was involved in the Underground, as well as being in the Meeting with Thrall, Drek'thar, Grom, and Orgrim. Kargath was respected by Thrall, which is why the Warsong honored him with naming their lumber camp after him (Kargathia) and Thrall naming the Badlands Outpost after him (Kargath).

However, in-game, he became enslaved to the Fel Horde of Magtheridon, or whoever, and leads the Fel Horde in the Hellfire Penninsula. Nazgrel explains that, while it is a sad thing that a chieftain such as Kargath Bladefist, the Master of the Shattered Hand, a clan that still exists in the Horde and trains all Orcs and Trolls as rogues and assassins, as well as keeps a very strong hold in the Drag as spies and informants, would fall from grace like that, but insists that the Horde honor him for the warrior he used to be.

As for Zul'jin, he was captured by the High Elves after Draenor shattered and tortured for several years, losing an eye and his arm. He escaped to Zul'Aman, where the God-King of the Aman'i Empire would want to unite all the tribes once more (Zul'jin is a native Revantusk Troll, and was from the Hinterlands). When Zul'jin discovered that the Horde llet in the very same elves who tortured him, considering his years of service to the Horde under DoomHammer, he considered it a huge betrayal to all Aman'i who died for them. He thus declared war on the Horde and severed all ties.
