Swerto's Manipulations

EDIT: Because people are stupid and obviously can't get this without it being stated explicitely. I in no way claim ownership of anything in these pictures. The program I used, including the brushes I have gathered from websites like deviant art where they were available for free, were all created by other people. The photographs I grab the actors for were taken by professional and amateur photographers other than myself. Warcraft armor was made by Blizzard. The only thing I take credit for is the manipulation itself, and the work put into it.

Decided to make a thread for my manipulation Avatars.

Why are Swerto manips so awesome, you ask? Well because Swerto doesn't just grab some random hot actress and put green eyes and call it a day. Swerto goes through and edits skin textures, hair, and even puts in game armor over (while filtering and editing it to make it seem less low quality next to the real life actor).

Swerto also gives it a personal touch that is so noticeable.

If you really want to make these more awesome, then do the following:

- While extending hair, be sure to somehow add back in the subtle detail of the actual hair from the photo - it looks a bit hacked, especially in swerto's picture. I wouldn't know exactly how do to do this, but I'd recommend either straight brushing it or using a clone tool or something to extend.

- When doing armor, be sure to have the helmet and shoulders cast shadows back upon the original photo, otherwise you can very easily tell it is copy/pasted. Burn tool and/or lasso > feather > brightness/contrast should work here.

Otherwise, they're definitely good shops.

It's not, but I forgot to save progress so that's as finished as it gets. I have a better version but it's Natalie Portman, and he wanted that chick instead.

Going to have to start that one over, removed since it is unfinished.

Mother fucker, that one was really hard to do, due to the position of the head, and the low quality of the armor picture.

I'd like to see what Swerto can do with a more monstrous race, like Tauren and someday Worgen. Maybe take pictures of cow or dog heads and shoop shoulder armor onto them? (lol chihuahua worgen)

Darthak complete. Not as happy with it as I'd like to be, but that's as done as it's going to get. I'm not photoshopping a real skull in there to get the skull texture right.
